Wow that being such an outlandish claim, I'd love to see where you "heard" it from.

Judging by past results, that figure may be pretty close. Here is one article, there are more out there. You tell me, what is the cost per stimulus job?

It would probably be far more efficient to just create a lottery system and give a certain number of lucky unemployed individuals lump sums of cash

How many jobs did the billions of dollars spent on bush`s tax cuts get us?

A few more than zero.

That would figure out to about 20-30 million per job created.......maybe more.

Great job ,cons.

No, I don't give a shit about the previous bullshit that's been cooked from the books by falsely crediting EVERY dollar of the stimulus to job creation. Even a guy living downwind of a meth lab knows that isn't true.
I was asking PA SPECIFICALLY where he got the information.

But I will agree that $533k is a ton to pay to republicans to maintain and launch their pet programs (see PORK) which as most who breath actual air can tell you is what was forced on the president to pass the first stimulus. I know nit's absolutely crazy to hope for this but I HOPE the GOP will do something besides economic sabotage and the sitting on their hands Mr. Boner's speech just aired implies. If they aren't willing to take a big risk, they should get the fuck out of the way.
I am unimpressed with this wait 14 and we'll fox it(really more like 20 when you account for their candidate putting his hand on the bible and then paying off the big donors with whatever it is they purchase off the GOP candidate during the election in terms of promises/bribes).
Shit like that borders on criminal if you ask me.
Give us SOMETHING, ANYTHING, that stimulates jobs NOW. NONE of Boner's proposal goes to work very quickly at all, unless of course they go behing closed doors with the phonies holding back the economy and work out a new way to rig the game.

Actually, if you go by the unemployment numbers and couple it to the dire threats Bush made when ransoming it to the American people in 2007 - 2008m it's pretty clear the benefit was a negative number IN THE MILLIONS

So it isn`t the spending that`s making her hesitate.

It`s the impact on her constituency that`s making her think about it.

Only a retard would see that as anti-Obama policy.

As revealed just now by the BONER plan, apparently the 'right' thing to do is push this one off to the super committee and DO NOTHING. Get with the Program O! The mission now is to sabotage the economy for another year and make sure NOTHING IMPROVES UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. Too bad the middle class doesn't share their ability to tread water like the new
