Link to story. Still a mystery how the cat, Willow, made it cross country. At least the microchip embedded gave the shelter the info to contact the original owners who quipped- quote: ... about a possible New York state of mind. She's a beautiful cat, most likely will prefer Egyptian cotton 800+ thread count sheets.

Spike was chipped & that's how I was found by the people who found him after the people I gave him to dropped him off in an industrial area in North Portland. I was so happy to hear that he was loved & being well taken care of & getting veterinary care. I sent money until I lost my job & home. I wonder if I have a way to get in tough with them now to explain what happened.

I seen that link- and it seems like a puff piece to push chips. I am glad the cat is back... but when she said she would chip her kids if she could--- it sort of ruined to fun of the article. (my 2 cents)

Mebbe it was there for a few of those 5 years! I was considering chipping my mind as it seems to wander off these days on its own.

I read this story yesterday morning and it made me all emotional for some reason.......maybe because my kitty cat is a Calico too! I am so glad it had a happy ending.
