I disagreed with Bush on many of his directives, but I respected that he did exactly what he said what he would do, like it or not.

The party scene and the economy were better under Bush. This endless crises mode is getting old.

Bush put a lot of lives in the line of fire by getting us into two wars under the pretense of a threat that did not exist. Not to mention, using the Iraq conflict to distract everyone from the Darfur conflict, wich got almost no coverage whatsoever. Bush was far more politcally strategic than people understand. He wasn't the most eloquent person on the podium either. But he did say that OBGYNs Should practice thier love of women all over the world, wich I lol'd at pretty hard when I heard. And if you think Bush is the greatest president in recent memory you are too young for this Conversation. The last great president this country had was Clinton. I didn't much care for his shenanigans, but he was politically savy and he protected the middle class and lower class, as well as our intrests abroad without putting lives in danger. Before that, Reagan was the last good pres, and before that was JFK.

You are joking, right?? Bush is one of the worst presidents we've ever had. He started 2 wars. His economic policies crashed the economy. He led the way for this country to torture people--something that has been illegal in this country since its founding, btw.

I have to agree with class in action. You might not like what Bush did, but he did what he thought was right and he stuct to it. He didn't stick his finger in the air to see which way thw wind was blowing.

Bush I actually raised taxes to balance the budget, so naturally, a greedy populace who wanted all the spoils and none of the pain threw his ass out.

The economy was so much better under Bush. A recession does not last 3 years. Obama had time to fix it- and it gets worst. Foreclosures, homeless, jobless people. and getting worst. He also expanded the wars which kills even more people.
