No, as I said, Ive MET them, though TA Jr several times, Tyson just once. One of my clients in my early career was a referee and we wound up with invites to a lot of post fight parties. My favorite fighter for personality was Rocky Lockridge. He carried around a boom box on his shoulder that looked wider than he was tall, and at his own parties he would just move to a corner with the boom box blasting and dance with himself. He had a great sense of humor...I think he could have done stand up if he hadnt been a boxer.

Bobby "Mensa" Czyz was the most "normal" of any of them, and a truly nice guy.

When he raped a girl across Narragansett Bay from me, no RI liberals embraced him, before or after... and frankly, I don't know of anywhere a political conscience has been attributed to the guy.... So wouldn't that by default make him a republican?

Getting along with thompsonx doesn't really improve your argument, tweak.  He's one of only two posters I have on hid, due to is ... particularities.   I suspect that I'm not the only one.

Again, you are attempting to impose some social control on me, through the time-tested method of "the guilt trip".  A type of a guilt trip is "political correctness", which I suspect you are quite experienced and skilled within your standard social milieu. 

But to be effective, political correctness relies on the other person having (1) a fear of social or professional ostracization, and (2) some uncertainty about their own beliefs or expression of those beliefs.  It also requires the social or legal mechanism in order to bring about the consequences that the attacked individual fears.

However, it isn't really effective with someone like me, who has a pretty good grasp of what they believe and why, can separate BS out pretty well, and is old enough not to really give a two-turd shit about the opinion of someone whose opinion I value not.  As well, other than attempting to get me to violate the TOS, or isolating me from the social fabric of CM, you have no other legal or social paths of power. 

In other words, your current attempt to modify my beliefs and behavior have no leverage with me at all.  Your insults and bullying tactics before did not work, and they will not work with me in the future.  Your attempts at intellectual obfuscation and intimidation have not worked and will not work.  Your attempts at belittling and denying my own educational accomplishments will not and do not work. 

I, my dear, am your worse nightmare:  you are less than nothing to me as an opponent.  I do occasionally hold out hopes that you are capable of breaking through your fear, anger and political correctness to become a full human being, but I don't really expect it.

The only way that you can affect my behavior is to change yours.  In other words, cut all the crap and games and open up to me as an individual, let us cross swords with the honest possibility of agreeing to disagree without being disagreeable.

Any time you feel comptent to come out and discuss with me you are always welcome. As long as you are unable or unwilling to enter into discussion with me then you are probably best served by keeping me on block.

He's admitted he's bipolar , he had a
nightmare childhood and he has lost
a child. He hasn't taken responsibility
for what happened in that hotel room
but he has stopped trashing the woman
which isn't enough but is something.
I have no idea what his political affiliation
is or if he even has one.

I understand. It's tough to figure out since many men say they want to fuck Sarah Palin and they mean it sexually kind of making you think "Gee, then they would probably vote for her too". But then you take all the guys who mean they'd just like to fuck her figuratively. And ya think "Gee, maybe they wouldn't vote for her". The whole thing is a huge puzzler.
And barely worth thinking about.
