No treason committed(Plamgate),no cities lost(Katrina) and fraudulent wars(Iraq).


By about this time in,bush had ended the policy of torture he started,the one that the rightie-nuts still defend/deny,to this day.


Three years in,bush is letting bin-laden go and needlessly committing and re-committing deadly fuck-up after fuck-up in Iraq.


Three years in,President Obama kills bin-laden and is arguing with republicans about how many troops to leave in Iraq.President Obama said around 3000.The cons want MORE.

Very little there are scandals. Solyndra and LightSquared will change his "remarkably scandal free" record. (of course that he could be elected in the first place is an American scandal, but thats not the issue of this thread!)

That depends on your point of view. Once upon a time certain leftists would have considered most all of those items the most serious type of scandals perpetrated by any administration ever

Today, according to those same people there is nothing that this president can do that could possibly be considered a scandal

Well,President Obama had taken over a failing portfolio and turned it around with ZERO help from you cons.

Stopped the hemeraging of a 100,000 jobs lost per month and slowling but steadily started to grow the economy, for a couple years.Wallstreet started responding well and the future looked good.

So what changed?........

The cons took the H of Rs.

For the last year durring that time to now,things are stalling and running flat.

Stagnating as you pointed out.

Your credit rating/default crap, has only made things worse.

You dont realize that the author is a *true* leftist, who hasnt sold out the ideals he or she professed to believe in while Bush was president, merely because the current president has a D by his name?

Do you know why the employment rate is being so slow to rise? Is it because the private sector isn't hiring or the public sector is contracting at a very high rate?

Once you get done looking that up then tell me whether you think laying off tens of thousands of public sector employees right as we're trying to come out of a bad recession was such a good idea.

Status: offline 		Don't be a dumbass, Ken.  Are you going to try to argue that "massive hiring" in the private sector is somehow being offset by evil, greedy lay-offs in the public sector?  The milk from the private sector tit isn't flowing, with highly predictable results for those who feed on it.  Housing values are shot to shit, so are revenues from property taxes.

We're stagnant.  Economic growth isn't even keeping up with population/workforce growth.

Status: offline 		We didn`t know it at the time,but at three years in to his admin.,bush was done dismantling/defunding the financial regulatory agencies and appointing banksters to run them and to write the bank rules, they hardly enforced.

Laying the ground work for the greatest financial avalanche since the GREAT DEPRESSION, in '08',causing a global reccession.

Destroying the greatest housing market on the earth and killing one of America`s best jobs creators,new homes.

And we hear peeps and squeeks about how these "masters" of economics, would have turned things around by now.

But no scary talented plan or explaination about how they would have done it or will do it.

Maybe more tax cuts, for corporate America?

Say,let GE pay a zero % tax rate.

They would just love that,....... they don`t pay any taxes now!

Maybe just give GE and others our tax dollars, on the hopes that big business will "trickle it down"?

Hey,how about this?When the economy is at it`s most vulnerable,threaten default and get our credit rating dropped.

That`ll help.....
