FOR $8,000

Correct. Congratulations. My 8,000 congratulations but we dont want to give you that, we would love to give you the next one. Its worth $16,000 and would love it even more to get you up to a GUARANTEED $32,000 whatever happens if you get the next two correct, you walk away tonight with $32,000, still be aware like i say that the drops get a bit steep from here on in, a right answer wins you $16,000 but a wrong answer and you LOSE $15,000. You DONT have to play this next one, you can walk away with $8000 tonight, have a look at it , see what you think, no pressure.

For $16,000 here is the question

What is the capital of Nicaragua?
A) nairobi
b) sarajevo
c) managua
D) canberra

lobodomslavery -> RE: Who wrote the Importance of being earnest? (9/18/2011 6:59:25 AM)

Correct. Now this is where it gets SERIOUS REALLY SERIOUS, a right answer to the following question wins you $32,000, a wrong answer and you lose $15,000 of the $16,000 you already have, a wrong answer and you drop to $1,000 tonight as your going away prize money.

The question for $32,000 is

Can you name the divided Mediterranean island?

A) Tenerife
B) Aran Islands
C) Sardinia
D) Cyprus

A B C or D, Use your lifelines if you have to, this is serious cash now a right answer gains you a GUARANTEED $32,000 no matter what happens, that will be on receipt of a correct answer the LOWEST amount of money you can go away with tonight. Lots of luck , Lets play who wants to be a millionaire. Your 30 seconds starts now

D) Cyprus

lobodomslavery -> RE: Who wrote the Importance of being earnest? (9/18/2011 1:43:45 PM)

Correct. Now we are getting into really serious MONEY. You have the $32,000 but WE DONT WANT TO GIVE YOU THAT, we would love to give You the next one , its for $64,000. So for $64,000 and a great NIGHT here is your question

When to the nearest year was Leonardo Da Vinci born?
a)1553
B)1452
C) 1652
d) 1453

So folks to the nearest year, if you can give me a correct answer here, the $64,000 is all yours. You have absolutely NOTHING to lose here by playing because even a wrong answer and you still have $32,000 so you might as well play but i would just love to double that TONIGHT

A B C or D. Use your lifelines if you have to. You might as well play, there is NOTHING to lose here. Lots of luck. Let's play who wants to be a Millionaire

Axeman, where the hell you been ? Damn, you would be a hit in Politics these days.

And this is probably a trick question, the question states the NEAREST year, which would be 1453 because 1452 could be considered technically disqualified by the exact wording of the question.

Where's my money ?

T^T

lobodomslavery -> RE: Who wrote the Importance of being earnest? (9/18/2011 11:20:12 PM)

Correct. Now it gets really really interesting. The next question is for $125,000 , life changing money you will agree. The issue here is the drop is quite steep again, a wrong answer and you lose $32,000 thus going back to $32,000 a right answer and you win $125,000. So for $125,000, You DONT have to play this question at all, but for $125,000 here is the question

Who invented the photograph?

A) John Logie Baird
b) Tim Berner Lee
c) Alexander Graham Bell
d) none of the above

Take your time if in doubt take the money, You DONT have to play this question, if you play and give me a correct answer, i will be ripping up that check for $64,000 and replacing it with a massive check for $125,000, a wrong answer drops you back to $32,000
Use your lifelines if you have any left, go 50-50, if you have it, ask the audience or phone a friend. Lots of luck. Lets play who wants to be a Millionaire.

MAX!!! *smoooch*

yeah, Ron, I know what ya mean... that tidbit didnt stick in my mind as much as the bit about adult seagulls have a red spot opn their beak for the juveniles to peck at, triggering the regurgitation of food...

since 7th grade, dammit.. that worthless bit of knowledge has been stuck in my head since SEVENTH FRIGGIN GRADE!!!

I wish you could choose which memories to ditch in favor of more relevant stuff!! (I bet when I'm old and senile, I'll STILL remember that!!!)
