You asked what to expect, I gave you a reference to a good starting point. You can then check out Diamond's Guns, Germs and Steel for another aspect of the situation. Also, despite being genre-fiction, check out "Lucifer's Hammer" by Pournelle and Niven.... Don't project your own insecurities into my signature line. Shit... I also have more than a few rifle scopes that are, not coincidentally, attatched to rifles. I also handle surveys on a daily basis in my work and those are not surveyors marks. The marks Palin had over certain districts is almost identical to the recticle on My Redfield Widefield 3-7X. She did something stupid and refused to 'man up' to it. I'm not placing blame for the shooting. Im just calling bullshit on her claim.
