gorgeous.  I guess it doesn't know west Ga from east Ga huh?

I see moths around here all the time that are just gorgeous.  Some day I will remember to take my camera out and take pics dang it.

we get alot of moths at work. mostly they are ones that should be sat on trees but hang about on our walls completely on show. this year though, for the first time ever, we had a couple of yellow swallow tail moths. they are rather large and lemon in colour.

my son saw a hummingbird hawk moth around my budlia bush. i'm very envious of him as i've never seen one. they are rather rare here.

I have always been fascinated with Lunas  which always show up in the woods around the saltmarshes here in the spring...

I love the Luna moths. Somewhere, on my crashed external drive, I have some photos of one I found early one morning.

Most of the moths I see are smaller and more grey and brown. We are getting a lot more varieties of butterflies the last few years.
