First, a tiny attempt to counteract the constant (and getting extremely tedious and repetitve) snide regulars' remarks about thread death: I like this thread and am very glad it hasn't died. I appreciate reading other people's personal experiences and I always learn something new from them. Your constant harping on a thread that will not die suggests to people like me--who don't read this forum frequently--that you have something to fear from what is said here. Maybe you don't mean these sorts of "all sound same" comments to be a blatent demonstration of your inner insecurities, but boy, does it sure come off that way! (At least to fresh eyes.) No offense intended, no naming of names (as it would probably take me a week to list them all--rolling eyes), just some honest feedback about a general (and rather inexplicable) trend. I mean, what do you care if any one thread dies or not? If you don't like the contents, the solution to your "issues" is not exactly rocket science. Five simple words: Just. Don't. Read. It. Junior. So very, very easy, that! If I can do it, anyone can. :)

Little Red, how did you lose 75 pounds in 6 weeks and not die? Please say you meant six months?! ;)

I also do something that you do: while I am average sized, I will not have anything to do with a man who puts anti-overweight comments in his profile. People are more than welcome to their personal preferences, of course...but then, so am I. :) And one of mine is that I am extremely turned off by men so rabidly anti-fattie that they have to mention it in thier profiles, sometimes in the cruelest of terms. I have no confidence that such a man would make a good partner for me because over and over I see that this attitude (which they feel "safe" in expressing in public rather than ashamed of themselves for crassly and unnecessarily hurting feelings, I guess because so many other men do the same--monkey see, monkey do) tends to be just the tip of a very negative critical iceberg. Such men seem never satisfied with who or what a woman is, no matter how very good it is. :(

To use a terribly un PC quote " One man's (or womans) Angel is anothers sweathog"> Why are so many people obsessed over the shell. I am way more concerned with whats inside. Yes I know that sounds trite but it is really so. I have known way too many "Beautiful people" that were real shits. Character, integrity, a sense of humor and being genuine are so much more important than the weigh in. And most of it has to do with a persons self confidnece and the way they carry themselves......

I am a full figured woman who is working to control her weight but I have learned to accept myself "as is" and found many man perfer larger women...Beauty comes in many different sizes and colors...never forget that.

I would like to put my very small two cents in if I may.

I have been in relationship with a Dom who was very physically fit. He was and still is a cyclist. When we first began I wondered if my size 12 jeans and my post baby tummy and my bubble butt would displease him. He was such my opposite in all of that. He said he found me beautiful and that size 4 or 16 I would still be the one he had chosen. Granted after being with him for many months I seemed to adapt to his eating habits and even *gasp* began exercising. I never felt a push from him to do those things. I simply evolved if you will to a more healthy state from his influence. I'm a size 10 now. I feel better about my size but I never questioned my sexual allure. I feel if a Dom has chosen you at a ceratin size, than you shoud consider yourself beautiful to him. He is all that matters anyway.

one thing i always notice ;it MUST BE,SO very difficult to be a top or dom,ESP.,if you want an overweight slave to be slim; seems to me ,if you are a top; you simply have to demand it and make it happen;it's certainly not up to the slave, to be the one in control; is it?
i do notice i can take a humble top female and bring out her best ,so she's a kncok out ;un-matchable number one -top ,but ,if i had a huge slave /sub ;i dont think i could do a thing ,to change her ,or i am, just no top, but, i know with me; its all up to the top; and delivery;IE:
nothing given out ,nothing given in;ETC.ETC.....

Ok here is my 2 cents whether you want them or not.

I'm a 350 lb fat woman who is completely and totally confident in her fat. I use the word fat freely to describe who I am. I'm not looking to loose weight. I love every inch of my flesh. Every roll, every dimple, every crevice is an erogenous zone that I love to have explored.

There are men FAs aka Fat Admirers that love fat women. There are FFA Female Fat Admirers that love big men or big women. Every person has a preference.

I can't believe no one has brought up the feeder/feedee aspect. Yes there are men and women who are into weight gain or making their partners fatter. I'm not into that aspect, but it's out there.

There's also the squashing aspect. Goggle it and you will find many Dommes who are well over 500 lbs..who are successful squashers. If you've seen JackAss 2 the fat lady in it..is a professional squasher.

What cracks me up the most is all the "Oh you should loose weight for your health" bullshit that's been spewed in some of the posts in this thread. You can be 120 lbs and still be unhealthy. It's about finding what works for you.

So, hate me because I'm fat? I don't care. Because there are 10 other men in line dying to get a taste of my junk under the hood.

Generally, being overweight isn't healthy, but of course there are exceptions.

Hating someone for being overweight is stupid, I agree.

Isn't is supposed to be "junk in your trunk"?....

A 19 page thread that i didn't post on? Hard to believe....lol. But seriously, i don't get into the obese debate....i find the rude comments disgruntling

But anyhoo...in response to you lil....i am not thin and never have been....would say i am pretty much average to chubby (just look at the size of my thighs in my pic...definitely not thin ). But i could always eat whatever i wanted and never seemed to gain. i think i might have been more active then too.

Over the past 2 years, i have gained this 10 lbs that just won't seem to 'let go' despite dieting. i mean, i did lose it but gained it back as soon as i started eating 'normally' again. (Ah...the problem with diets...keeping the lbs off )

i have finally concluded that it is not going to be a diet that is going to make this happen so i have started looking into some exercise options. For me, i think it is worth the try because the diets just aren't cutting it anymore (of course....i'm almost 50....i could blame it on menopause....lol)

In any event, i won't undertake this now....not until i have had time to look into it and get the equipment i need...probably after the holidays (how convenient....lol)....or maybe a New Years resolution type of thing.

But sorry....there are no miracle diets But you are young yet and if you keep an eye on it now...you are at least one step ahead of the game. It does kinda creep up on ya. Wish i had realized it sooner

Yep. You can eat mountains of vegetables, almost non-stop and not put on weight. Without delving into anything scientific.....when you load your plate, maybe make veggies the largest pile and protein and carbs the little piles. I know I'm attracted to fatty foods, I just love them, they taste SO good......and I love carbs of all types.........but I really adore green food too...so I don't feel deprived, whatever's on my plate.

No food is bad in itself, attitude to it can be, though.

Oh good lord girl. Get over it! Wake up and look at America. Overweight is becoming the majority. For the rest of us, if we dare feel good about ourselves then all we have to do is turn on the TV or read Rolling Stone Magaizine. Believe me, we'll feel bad about ourselves for some reason after 30 minutes of watching the media tell us whats the proper way to be.

Just be dammit. Just be. If you really must feel bad, then go hang out at the mall. You'll feel better about yourself 15 minutes after you see what everyone else looks like. We are not beautiful beings in most ways. YET, we can be the most beautiful things on the planet, if we look at the world form an artists point of view. Im sure you posses beauty. EVERYONE does. So find your beuaty. And never forget that you own it.

Honestly? At almost 200 pounds I was attracting more men and men of better quality then I did at 120. I've lost about 20 pounds because my doctors worries about diabetes but... I'm never going skinny again. Ever. I love my curves and my breasts that defy cup sizing (though I may have to get a reduction *pout*). Being curvy beats being skinny any day.

What it should comes down to is that you do it for yourself.

I am overweight now, but want/need to loose it for medical reasons and most importantly........ME. I love to do many things and being overweight doesn't help it. It makes some hobbies of mine that I like/want to do much enjoyable and will cause actual physical joint pain to go away, as well as helping in sleeping.

I have dropped 64 pounds before a major operation on my own, gained back 25 lbs of it due to being forced into a sedintary lifestyle for recovery, and now working to lose the remaining.

Actually, there is a feeder thread, one which I've been trying to steer in a more positive direction. If people would just -look-, they'd see that at one time or another almost anything has been covered.

I happen to agree with Rose, and I am one that needs to loose a lot of wieght, for health, self esteem, looks, energy, whatever. There are a lot of people in the Ds community that need help and guidance. Ummm, if you are a dominant isn't this what you look for? Someone you can make life better for, care for, guide? It isn't always about wieght. Sometimes it is strength raising the kids, or managing money, or a combination of several things. But I believe that most people, Dom and Sub turn to D/s because something in their life isn't working. I am not saying all. I certainly am one. What is not working for me is my relationships with women.

So to Rose's question, I believe that many submissives have issues because they cannot deal with them alone and they blossom out of control. It's ok. They, you, me are not bad people, indeed many of us have more integrity and strength than most vanilla people. It is just that we are not sure how to apply it. Sometimes, when we learn, we {gasp} go over to the dark side and become dominant. Sometimes we find that being submissive fills other needs as well.

Rose, keep asking questions. The more we examine ourselves and our motives, the stronger we will become, both as people and as individuals.
