First, everyone here is a real stickler for correct terminology. To you it doesn't matter what anyone calls it, you just have to find what works for you. But just for clarification the definition of what you are trying to do is Topping or Bedroom Dom.
You have established a way of dealing with her already, trying to Dominate her outside of the bedroom is something she may pull away from. But I will give you some tips I think will help and the critics will pick it apart and make corrections and comments.
First thing to do is think about what you want from her and say it in a more controlling manner.
Don't ask her to do anything, especially during a scene. Tell her to get on her knees and crawl to you. Tell her to suck your cock.
