TomcatLXVI -> RE: Older men, much younger women. (9/23/2011 1:25:49 PM)

My personal take on the whole older/younger thing is that a 20-year age gap is nothin'. I dated a gal who was 19+ me back when I was a barely humanoid 20-something and she was just who I needed at the time. It was great. First time I ever parted friendly. Human beings being who we are, a person's basic character is pretty well set by 18. At 18, you're not just a freely consenting adult, but you can play a good game of chess and enjoy reading a French movie. Just about everyone I know who's interesting at my age, was already interesting at 18. So I have no shame, reservations, or hesitation to date a girl who's young enough to be the kid I don't have. If she feels the same way about me, game on. I may feel different once I hit the big five-OH! and girls hitting the film able pool are a full me - (4 x {4 x 2}). But probably not. Tell you in 2019 if I'm still in the dating pool.
