Hi. I hope I'm not being a pain, but I'm hoping for some feedback on these items before I make a purchase. Have any of you tried the FeelDoe? Would you recommend it? There are a couple others that look a lot like the same thing but are different brands. They're the RealDoe, the LoveRider, and the Fetish Fantasy Strapless Strap-On. Does anyone know if they are about the same quality not? Thanks for any and all input.

The feeldoe is good quality, but that bulb thing = not always comfy. You DO need an harness unless you can thrust and do kegels at the same time. If you can, pls do a tutorial kthx!

Also, its very stiff, which on the surface is a good idea, in action not so much. I know there are discussions in the bdsm gear section from awhile back that go into more detail.

I have a Nexus, and its the one I like best. Mine is black/white swirl, so I guess it's the middle size.

I have to say.. from the dyke community that I frequent.. the feeldoes that we all bought when they first came out are gathering dust... that said, I'm sure someone likes them... I think they are a bit ackward to use. Good vibrations and toys in babeland usually have reviews of their products.. I'd check it out there...

honestly, tried and true technology -- a good old fashioned strap on.. just make sure you get the base placed really hard against your clit... [:D] you'll enjoy it

I've been pegged with two different feeldoes from two different Dominants.  One had a vibrator, the other did not.  Both Dominants complained that they were very difficult to control and that they wish they had a harness with them.  The vibrator works extremely well in the one that had the vibrator, but she complained that it was very uncomfortable inside of her... even somewhat painful.

All in all, i recommend normal strap-on harnesses and then have your slave pleasure you afterward.  You will more than likely just be disappointed. I have honestly never heard anybody say that they loved the feeldoe.  I'm sure some people do (beyond the fake reviews that you see), but i believe the number of people that dislike are greater than the number that like.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I'm thinking I will just get a conventional strap-on harness & dildo set. It sounds a lot easier and more likely to fit well and do what it's supposed to.

See, I was about to post yesterday that the Feeldoe with a woman might work... and that the POSITION you use would make a difference too. If you are face to face, the angle and such would be a help.

I have a funny story about mine.
I was very, *very* excited about trying mine out. The 'bulb' part that inserts in me is quite ponderous, and it took a good man a while to lick me into being dilated enough for it to go in, and even then it felt tight and not in a good way.

Here's another reply regarding your FeelDoe question.  I've experienced these with partners and while they can work for a short while, they tend to require a lot of "muscle work" to keep them in - no, not in the submissive, but rather in the operator.  Bottom line is... I've found they end up being distracting for both partners.  Yes, they can feel very good, but as a tool for longer fucking sessions (pun intentional), partners and I have always preferred traditional strap-ons.  If you want something inside yourself and/or stimulating yourself while fucking your partner, you can use a double-sided dildoe with a harness or insert a plug in yourself before donning the harness.  For additional stimulation (internally and externally), plugs with built-in vibration can work well.  Though a little more involved, my partners have all preferred this type of setup to the FeelDoe.

Ive had a feeldoe for a number of years and I must admit for the money, I wouldnt recommend it without use with a harness of some kind. But then I get flashy waggling mine around..!!!!!!!!
There are some new harnesses being intro'd now that look like panties,(albeit y fronts)blech, that pull on like panties and have a ring for a dildo with space for a mini vibe

I'd actually agree with this on two counts.  If you're above a size 8, the design probably isn't made for your body type.  The other is respective heights as it relates to angles.  If you're short and your boy is tall, there is a greater chance that your end is going to 'pop out' if you go for the standard doggie style fun.  You can arrange you situation where you are 'higher' than him, but in My opinion, it's just easier to buy the dang harness.

Of course, if you're going to do that, you might as well go with the Vac-U-Lock.

I modified a thong panty to use withe the nexus, and a control top thong (imagine!) With rubber O-rings for other attachments. They work a darn sight better than harnesses for keeping the thing next to me.

I will say that I don't get much physical entertainment from strap on play, but it's never been a concern.

How did you modify it? I admittedly bought a cheaper harness set because I didn't want to spend a lot of $$ until I found out if I even liked strap-on sex, but I am sure having a hard time keeping it close to me. I'm very plus-sized, so I was thinking about investing in the DivineDiva Plus-Size Harness, but if I can get a pair of thong panties and modify them so they work, I'd like to try that first.

LadyP, thanks for letting me know about the height issues. Thankfully, I'm pretty tall, but I was wondering if the angle would make a difference in how the Feeldoe would stay put, and now I know it does.
