Don't feel bad....i threw me the first couple of times I saw it....then I read the sig line she had and *DING*...the lights went on and there was somebody home!

And FB didn't look that different to me, but I'm only on it to play a couple of (freaking) games I'm now addicted to! It's really the only way I have of keeping up with my family since I'm in one state and they are in another.

You should have said that quicker. I didn't notice and now my count is different. I can't do it anyway. To many folks on the other side, and the real world, would get pissy at me.

To me, nothing much has changed on Facebook. Maybe its because I seldom use it...

I do like the chat section though. I made plans for a play session with it and no kids (and parents) were watching us....LOL!

The new format isn't bothering me one bit. My only complaint is that my friend's updates are in several different areas, since I am using the "lists" feature. But it's really no big deal. I guess it's because I'm computer savvy? I dunno. Websites change all the time. We just have to either get used to it or gtfo.

over the past few months, i've come to like it less and less, and with the most recent changes (and apparently more planned) i don't know that i'll stick with it much longer.
i've tried google+ too, but i don't like a lot of the privacy issues -- it has more privacy issues than facebook, if you can imagine that. i hadn't heard that any of them had been meaningfully dealt with, either. also, i understand why they feel they need to remove profiles without real names, but many professional dancers use their social networking sites to actually network, but under a stage name. Google has been known to completely delete any trace of an account that they feel is operating without a real name.

so i dunno.

I really don't see the problem with it. Just the ability to hide specific types of activity alone is a huge improvement imo. If I never see a photo album of some sluts in a pub again it will be too soon, and I am physically incapable of giving any fewer fucks about what pages someone Like'd or who they recently friended. Being able to hide those particular sorts of activity from otherwise interesting people is like a dream come true.

The weird sidebar thing was worse. Hell, even the broken chat version that remains of it is worse, for that matter. Seems like status quo bias if you ask me.
