Status: offline 		Like most speeches, it was well delivered. It also wandered quite a bit, and on the topic of Israel and Palestine, laid out little in real terms. He did frame the issue quite well though, and said nothing about previous stances regarding the pre-6 day war borders - what most like to call the 1967 borders.

The only reaction I saw from the crowd was the Palestinian delegate shaking his head.

He pissed all over Syria, but played nice with Bahrain. And then... he wandered. Overall, good speech, not much on meat.

Status: offline 		He droned on and on. The only notable part was his moral equivalency between terrorism and self defense and his kumbaya bullshit about Israeli's and Palestinian's wearing each others shoes. The only radical Muslim who would give a Jew his shoes is Richard Reid.

Yeah, whether its real or posturing is hard to tell, but he does seem to have pissed off the Palestinians more than the Israelis this time around.

I remember in 1980 sitting in my apartment in back bay watching bin laden on a 60 minutes piece being regaled as a savior of Afghanistan by Mike Wallace, while we carved up a slab of has that was stamped in gold with crossed aks and the inscription "Guns For Afghanistan" and on the other side stamped with a gold tiger and "Russia No".

This is just another case of our govt. not listening to The People.

Not absolutely convinced of that slavemike. Though I've seen no proof or confirmation, I have a sneaking suspicion that, on one of his good days, he recognises his own name.
