The flood of messages has ebbed, and I find this both pleasant and deeply challenging to my hideously oversized ego. So, in the twin interests of curiosity and greed, I'd like to introduce myself.

You may refer to me as sweetie, darling, doll-face, dulcie, demon-spawn, harpy, kitten, sugarpie, girlie-twirlie, no-good harlot, that recalcitrant little bitch from IP with the stupid smug hair, or whatever else strikes your fancy. Just don't call me mom, because I would have a great many follow-up questions, the answers to which would likely upset both of us.

(Also, I'm serious. And my name isn't Shirley.)

I'd be interested in meeting other literary, creative sorts, especially those flavored with  geek extract or nerd-sprinkles. I am unattached, but there are wonderful reasons for that just now, so I wouldn't call myself "looking". However, I enjoy discussion, debate, shameless flirtation, and both sexual and non-sexual roleplay.

Welcome to CM. Here is some generic advice that may be of some value to you :

Read the forums, all of them. http://www.collarchat.com/m_1726118/tm.htm this is a list of reading material to get you started. Keep in mind anything you read is not a "one true way" and many of the authors will differ in thier views, but reading is no substitute for real life.

Get to some munches. Munches are just vanilla meetings in the ordinary world with like minded people to get to know the people in your area, and learn from thier experience. There is no kinky games, special protocol, or playing done at munches (generally). To find a munch, start by looking http://www.collarchat.com/forumid_17/tt.htm. If you cannot find anything there, google your city, state/province, and the word MUNCH. If you still cannot find anything, head over to fetlife.com and make an account, there are lots of events listed there as well.

Now, since you like casual intellectual conversation, what is your opinion on the Bose Einstien Condensate theory as it applies to gravimetric verticies? I personally believe once a stable Fermion can be produced to fuel an SEG we will kick off an energy race that will make the nuclear arms race look like it was written in crayon. If only I had a atom smasher to play with....

My opinion? They should stop doing that -immediately-, or their faces will get stuck that way. Also, it will probably stain, and do you have any -idea- what new shoes cost?

The thing is...you could write that you're a nun just looking to meet interesting people and have NO interest in sex or sex talk, and you'd still be inundated with offers. The only hide and go seek here is hiding from all the available erm...male parts...
I'm just saying that you do not have to show your private side on your profile, they mostly assume we're all easy anyway. Even if we're not.
