From what I have read here and what I understand is that most new subs love all the play and fun stuff but need to learn that there is a lot more to being a sub than just the scenes and the play. Either through maturity or experience or both of these, they need to learn how to give in order to receive. They need to learn how only through mutual respect, trust, and love can a true M/s relationship exist. This takes more time and effort than most subs realize and most of the new ones (inexperienced) don't want to extend that kind of effort. I can understand why most Mistresses and Masters don't always want to take the time and effort to train new subs, only to have the subs find out they can't handle the reality and then leave. Sure, play is fun and exciting >grins< but a true relationship is based on much more than that. I have always believed it is better to give than to recieve and I get most of my pleasure just by pleasing others. I have been burnt in past relationships by those who only took advantage of me this way, but I know I will find someone who will appreciate what I have to offer. Submissively, Nikki Ann
