As far as dressing goes candy, you can act like you are going to a church social, they share alot of the same features.

I personally don't wear ties or really really good clothes since I tend to slobber all over myself or throw cups of coffee at myself in social situations. It is hard to look domly with lasagne hanging off your tie. (but it can be done.)

WOW ~ I was overwhelmed by the wonderful resposes!! THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!! This is the closest I have felt to actually "talking" one on one about my desires. It sounds corny - but I really do appreciate ALL of the thoughts and opinions offered - I did not ask my question lightly and I can tell that no one took it lightly.

So I must conclude --- if all of you were helpful to me here and you all attend munches......then the people I meet at a munch might be very much like you....which means that I might meet some nice people...that might become nice friends.....SSSOOO I guess I will be checking the calendar for the next munch! ~

www.latches.com is a large support group online for submissives and slaves who have lived in the lifestyle for over i year i think it is.

Here are some submissives. Just write either here, or privately to another one. Which ever you feel comfortable.

You are wise to seek the counsel of a fellow submissive/slave. As i in my search, found Dom/mes had interfering agendas of their own.

I have been living with my Dominant for 18 months. I am not experienced. And i went to a munch for the first time a few weeks ago. It was a group of ordinary folk eating dinner together, rather noisily. 2 people, had dressed in something eloborate, men seemed to be in black. Other's 'came as they were' but perfectly presented casual at that. The age range was same as society. All ages. The people were friendly. And the only BDSM i got to see, what some girl getting her hair pulled. Playfully by a Domme. Its not sex. Its a social gathering of like minded curious people. We are all new. All the time. If experiences remained static, within our respective relationships, there would be no growth of the pair. And life would be dull.

New here too and I completely understand about the fear of going to a munch. I tend to be pretty nervous in new social situations. Couple that with a group based on activities I had NO experience with and I was terrified. So your fear is fully understandable. I signed up on CM nearly a year ago with the same objective. It didn't work the way I anticipated, but over time, it has worked out.

I don't have a lot to add because you've already gotten some great advice. I will say I recently attended my first lifestyle functions and it was a great experience. The people were very warm, kind, friendly and very easy to talk to.
