It does, although that's not the thought that occurred to me. I thought of a one-on-one scene both verbally and physically sadistic, with rivers of mascara tears and eardrum-shredding screams. The sheer bouncing playfulness of the song would give a scene like that a real emotional distance, a sense that the top was no more touched by the bottom's feelings than a cat would be by those of a mouse.

I suppose two cats would only double the fun, though.

Too distracting and "busy" for my tastes. I would be too busy tapping my feet to the music to pay attention to what the D would be doing.

Hmmm...too upbeat for my tastes. It's funny because I consider myself a happy masochist...I don't enjoy it for the stress relief or to help with something negative...I just like the high! :) Yet...when it comes to play music, I prefer something dark in tone. Something like this.

Love the track.  However, I'd find it distracting (read:  it'd annoy the fuck out of me) as background music for play.

i would also find it really distracting. i guess if that was the point, like a mental game to keep the bottom off balance, i can understand it. but it wouldn't be my first choice.

i agree; for some reason, something upbeat just kinda... one of the groups i like to go to has some odd "too happy" sounding music choice at times, and it's distracting! which seems odd because i don't play to feel abject misery (or well... i guess it depends on how you look at that =p that's part of the weird flip-floppiness with masochism i guess), but darker music just feels more appropriate.

LillyBoPeep: For me it's partly about putting me in the right head space, but like you say, it isn't as distracting as the OP's choice. I don't think I'd have any fun with that playing. :D
