Continually we are being screwed over by a minority, something happens, then knee jerk ill thought out legislation hits all the law abiding, the criminals of course by being criminal carry on as normal.
Now I used to shoot, both hand guns and rifles as a pastime, marksman with a rifle, which could have developed into a sport, but the Dunblane massacre put an end to that, as it is, our Olympic shooting team has to train out of the country, how ludicrous is that ?
And now swords used in dancing, although I believe highland dancers are exempt, not so unless things have changed for belly dancers, we can however buy them from he US, not employ our own craftsmen and sword smiths to make them. I can make them, but I am banned by law to make them.
Everything that happens affects the law abiding, the criminals still run amok, always have done and always will.
But it is going completely stupid now, anything can be called an offensive weapon, by whomever, I even got refused passage on a bus because I was carrying a piece of metal to my destination, the destination was actually called '' '' smithy, where there is only one building, a smithy, i.e. a blacksmiths workshop where I hope to be working, but if public transport is going to be this arsey, my hopes of being gainfully employed are finished before they start.
And now there is the anti smoking spetznaz, a minority of people who seek to infringe on the rights of others, the likes of which there is a growing resentment in society, not because people are being made out to be continuously unclean, but because in a democracy, a minority is always winning.
