I prefer series romance. Especially paranormal. Any suggestions?

I would recommend the Kushiel series by Jacqueline Carey and the Highlander series by Karen Marie Moning. The Kushiel books are more adventure than romance, although that element is definitely present. The Highlander series are definitely about romance, but have supernatural characters too, including the male protagonist. Also, you might enjoy any of Christine Feehan's books, but I found that she uses the same formula for the books I've read by her, so I wouldn't recommend reading more than one.

Jayne Anne Krentz who also writes as Jayne Castle and Amanda Quick has several paranormal romances series. They involve either the alternate planet Harmony and/or the Arcane Society. I read them like popcorn.

J R Ward. She writes the Black Brotherhood series (one book does pertain to B&D).

Kerri Arthur.  She writes about a werewolf/vampire female who has a sex drive that makes one howl...

Sherrlyn (?).  Dark Hunter series.  Enough said.

Cathrine Harris.  True Blood series.  The books gets into more detail.

Mom is hiding the rest from me until I get what is in my room read.

Filthy? Not to me. Some of them have scenes which are erotic. Some have scenes which are violent. Some have scenes which appeal to the intellect. You asked for romances, not for porn. And that's what we gave you.

Actually, the Sookie Stackhouse books are written by Charlaine Harris.  And I love them!  They have much more depth than the series True Blood, and are nothing like the series.  I've messed the last bunch of episodes, but I read in a magazine that the finale is gonna "get bloody".  The bullet meant for Sookie isn't taken by the person in the series, and the realationship between Eric and Sookie seems more fleshed out in the books.  I have all 10 (I think) books, and have read them at least three times, some more.

There is also another series written for tweens that I got hooked on...it's another Vampire series called the House of Night.  They are written by a mother daughter team, and the vampire premise is that it's all caused by genetics...some get marked, some don't.  It happens during puberty...as if that's not tough enough.  It's written byP.C and Kristen Cast.  Most libraries have it if you want to check it out.

I'm pretty loyal to a few authors, I don't read a specific genre as much as a specific author.  I've picked up all of Charlaine Harris' series but her Shakespeare one.  It's not in our library system......bummer!  Also, the author that does the Laurel K. Hamilton ones writes a couple of other series.  Or maybe the charachter is Laurel....I dunno...I'm tired and too lazy to Google right now.  Sowwy.

Anyway, happy reading!

eta....of course, as soon as I clicked "OK" it came to my mind.....the author is Laurell K. Hamilton, se does the Anita Blake Vampire Hunter series, but I've read her fae series involving Merry Gentry.  That's a good series too.....involving fairies inteacting with the real world of humans.

Laurel K Hamilton is the author. Anita Blake is the character. I've read all of those and just a couple of the Merry ones, about the fairy realms. Somehow the Merry ones just don't appeal to me as much.

Laurell K Hamilton's Anita Blake and Merry Gentry find it necessary to have sex with lots of vampires, werewolves, fairies, goblins, other fae, and other supes. This becomes tedious 10 or so books into the series, but it's quite entertaining in the beginning. Mistral, yum yum :)

I think LKH could learn from Charlaine Harris how to describe what characters are wearing. It really only takes a few sentences, not pages.

Thanks for the new (to me) authors!

I put in a hold for the first two JR Ward ebooks.

3 library systems offer me Arthur Miller when I search for Keri Arthur - NOT the witch story I'm looking for :)
Will get a library card so I can get the paper version. Only 9 months with a Kindle and I am spurning paper and ink :)

I'm excited that my library systems are offering Kindle versions now and I no longer have to go through the epub > mobi conversion process.

If you like vampire books, but are overloaded with True Blood and Twilight, there is a series by Christopher Pike. There nine books in total, and are available in 3 sets of 3. Thirst No. 1, Thirst No. 2, and Thirst No. 3.
