Ive found, not surprisingly, that people lie.

Women tend to be more clever at this.

The first sign of a good female liar is when she starts her profile post like this, "I'm a beautiful blah blah blah." Sure you are, honey.

Seriously though, people lie, women are no exception to this rule. So, a guy looks at your picture and he thinks, "She's pretty." And he starts from there. Maybe he reads your profile, maybe he doesn't. If he doesn't, well, it's obvious why he's ignoring the lesbian part. But there's a thousand possible reasons why someone who has read your profile might still contact you.

1) They don't believe you.
2) They are lonely and just looking to talk.
3) They are hoping you'll change for them. (Women are less "fixed" in their sexuality than men)
4) Did I mention they don't believe you?

Whatever. Get over it.

I mean, the opposite problem is that no one ever contacts you. Wouldn't you rather have your current problem?

I think a lot of guys share the fantasy of converting a proclaimed lesbian. For many guys, it may represent a triumph of masculinity. But I think most guys see "lesbian" and it appeals to them because, to them, it means that they needn't feel threatened by other guys, because you obviously aren't attracted to other guys. Keep in mind, that their nether regions are playing a large role in this thought process, and that area has difficulty distinguishing between fantasy and reality.

Because allot of guys are complete arrogant assholes and do not care about a girl's feelings....even if she's a lesbian. It's pathetic how men behave and act toward women....
