It was, in his view, a chance to boost profits by grabbing a more moderate audience.

Yeah well ... I guess they have figured out that if they don't LOOK better (and that's really all that it is), then the backwash from the English Isles will wash up here... How come nobody ever followed up on that piece a few weeks before the shit hit the fan in the UK?
The story where Fox had contacted the Secret Service about being hacked. Anybody remember that one? I wish I had a print reference to back up what I heard about that one. but let's just say it turned out none-to-pretty on fox.
This new move just signals a more surreptitious, Manchurian Candidate Phase... they're going to act quite gushy while they turn the same old knives in the same old backs
