MrEnigma -> no vision contacts (9/26/2011 11:12:05 PM)

I've seen quite a number of resources for completely opaque contacts that allow for no vision, but they're all white. I know some black ones exist, but does anyone have idea where? The white is a bit too...noticeable for my tastes and what I have in mind.

No idea where you might find them, but make sure they are fitted by an eye doctor. Wrongly fitted contacts can cause blindness. Surely you don't want to cause a permanent loss of vision.

Also an eye doctor can probably shed some light (or darkness?) on availability. My understanding is that most of those special effects lenses will inhibit vision. There are also reports indicating they may not be safe. But good luck all the same

These are great and good for longterm wear also. I have  had these put into my eye by force and forced to wear them for several days with no problem.

As I said earlier, here in the states, there are constant news reports (especially this time of year) of the danger of buying "off the shelf" lenses for any reason.

If you want to do it, they can be properly fitted by an eye doctor.

This is where my daughter buys them for when her and her boyfriend dress up for anime conventions or such

but you can still see through them. Can't say I've ever seen ones that are no vision at all.

Wrong fitted contacts cause eye pain NOT blindness.I know because I had wrong fitted one for over 2 months which caused red eyes and much watering.

Sir has a set of black, no vision contacts that he uses on me. I'll check to see where he got them and get back to you. They're lots of fun. :D
