Yoga will really help you become limber and also many use it with the mental aspects of peace and saying a mantra for meditation.
If you want to defy gravity, you probably need to go to something more physical like spinning, or kickboxing arobics, or something that really makes you sweat and speeds up your metabolism (NO, SEX DOES NOT COUNT or we'd all bee great shape!)
Good luck with everything your attempting as it really sounds like a positive in your life.
Onward, Kevin

I have a box with positive quotes and afirmation in it. Every day I pick one out or more if its a stressfull day and I read it and meditate on it. It can be a quote from a magazine or something a friend said or even the word 'hug' or a friend's name. I sit in lotus poistion, with a few candles lit and medativive music in the background and for 10 or 15 minutes thats where I focus. On stressfull days I I call a friend and talk or journal, that helps a LOT.

Or just eat a few pieces of dark chocolate, that works too and their is scientific proof that dark chocolate makes you feel beftter.

Sex is a great stress reducer and helps stave off heartattacks adn illness. Thats why people with acrive sex lives don't sick as much as the rest of us. It can also make you sweat, turn up the heat in the house and have at it. It will lower your blood pressure, make you feel incredible, gives your face a fresh rejuvinated look and glow. Plenty of reseacrh to back up having sex to stay healthy.

I jog and Jack off at the same time, just to stay in great shape and live longer...since I don't have a partner.
Panting, Kevin

I say a little prayer while I am in the child's pose....it varies each day...accordng to the day ahead...but I always end it with "allow me peace...balance...and knowledge....then a deep breathe releasing all the negative...

Watch for patterns in your life, repeat it twice, it might be a pattern, three times, and it IS a pattern.  Realize that what happens in your life, the drama, the bad luck, the problems are about you and the decisions you make.  Understand why you make those decisions and you have the tools you need to make better decisions.

This is awesome advice.  Implementation is a bitch though.
