Look at this too, Termy.

It's been a world game since ships sailed, and that was long ago. China was hell bent on isolationism, and succeeded greatly in that regard, and look where it has gotten them. They had no good answer for the multitude of invasions from the two Boxer rebellions, had no good answer for Japan, ....  they just freakin' gave up and turned it over to some nutcase named Mao. And they outnumbered everybody else by a wide margin in every case.

That is where isolationism get's you, eventually. It's like incest, on an economic and cultural scale.

Germans and Scandinavians and other-Europe deals with the same thing, re modern-day China. The whine and whimper somewhat less in that regard on their part. The French are still the funniest though, no question.

Obama's jobs bill can't get through Democrat-controlled senate...

That is absurd. There is no "Democrat-controlled" Senate and there has never been one since before Obama was elected.

Can you say "FILIBUSTER"????

Mitch McConnell certainly can.

Who are the Job Creators?

Simple. The Middle Class. The Middle Class are the consumers. Strong middle class = strong economy.

PERIOD.

Of course there was no filibuster, but why let reality interfere with wherever your head is.

If you're in Fla, one can get a decent part-time gig being a "robo-signer" on foreclosure affidavits, so we hear.

Banks; just doing what they can to help the unemployment situation in these tough times, you know.

Of course the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and the Gramm-sponsored Commodity Futures Modernization Trading Act had everything to do  with the CDOs and subsequent sprouting like weeds of no-doc sub-prime loans to feed them which have wreaked havoc on the world economy, but all you can do is scream "too much regulation."

Indeed, you seem to have great facility for not letting reality interfere with wherever your head is at.
