hi i was looking on ebay and found a company called ohlala. They also have a website where they claim to sale wholesale lingerie. I was particularly interested in purchasing one of their corsets, as they are mostly under $50 dollars. I was unable however, to find any reviews about the merchandise....... So I was wondering if anyone has ever tried any of their merchandise? If someone has, then maybe someone could give me their opinions?

im familiar with la la lingerie... have purchased from them several times. Decent quality, not bullet proof, but not easily breakable. Oh la la though? That may be a different company, im not sure : )

yeah I looked at their stuff too... doesn't seem to be the same merchandise.

I recommend the Frederick's of Hollywood corsets. They have many sales & free shipping offers, too. Get on their mailing list, too. They have stores in a few malls as well.

yeah, i'm not all that crazy about fredricks of hollywood... also I am plus sized, and I would like something with steel boning.

Eurotique has plus sizes (up to 5x), and steel boned corsets. However, the prices are over 50.00. Your best bet is to go to a fetish event and speak to vendors. Good luck.

I googled ohlala and checked out their site a bit. I've seen several of the items on other Ebay seller's auctions or other sites, which means, no doubt, their products come from several manufacturers and the quality will vary from item-to-item. Their priecs seemed pretty good, though, towards the lower-end of what those or similar items might sell for. We've purchased a few different "cheap" corsets on Ebay, and for us, they were plenty acceptable for the bargain price.

If you want a real corset, your rock bottom price will be $50.00, and that's only if you get lucky and find a used one on Ebay.

If you want steel boned you're going to pay over $400 for a good quality corset. A $50 corset is going to be nothing more than a piece of cloth with studs and a ribbon to tighten....maaaybe some cheap plastic boning if you're lucky.

I did get a red and black leather steel boned corset off of Ebay once. It didn't fit the person who owned it any longer. : )

try hipsandcurves.com Not quite $50 per corset but I bought steel boned one for around $130 with a coupon and free shipping, Its a great corset. I love it.

I have a few from them. I have the Baronessa in red, the Black Dahlia, and the Incantare. I have a few others from other stores but I am very top heavy (42DDD) so without the steel the corset does not last long and wont hold me up. I did order another corset from this company but I did not like it. The return was really easy. Good luck to you. Hope you find what you like.

a little pricy, but under $200 for steel boning and even a $90 model, I'll put the site on my wishlist, thanx :-)

PLEASE OP---- listen to me, the best investment you can make is on a GOOD, real, well made, steeled boned, corset. NOTHING will shape you better, nothing feels better, and you can wear it with anything else that is cheap, and you look like a million bucks. It is the very best thing you can do. Get it in a basic color, not a limiting print, or fashion color. I have had my Versatile corset, made in England for more years than I care to share. It has served me like a 1980's Honda. I still have it, love it, and always will. Mind you I pro-dommed in this corset about 3 times a week. For years. Best of luck with this!!!!!
