As I said on another thread, I never considered any job that I had as "lesser".  Everything I ever did, I just gave an honest days work for an honest days pay.

I've flipped burgers, delivered pizza, been a dispensing optition.  Worked in several manufacturies.  Been a mechanic.  Had a position at the phone company.  Waited tables.

I've worked in HR for a major corporation.  Spent My time in the medical field.  Been an electrical tech on systems that are bigger than most folk's homes.  That computer chip that's in your cell phone?  I can draw that by memory.  I can work on your car, paint your house, and do a lot of other things that most folks wouldn't even think of.

I've never once been ashamed of a job that I had.  Even when all I did was make a paycheck, it put food on the table and a roof over our heads.  There's no shame in that.

My very first paying job was literally... shoveling shit. I use to clean stables (It was the best way to be around horses! SWOON!), it was often how I helped pay for riding lessons, along with trimming brush around the fence lines, general chores and such. I was 13ish.
I'm sure most of my job consist of 'lesser work' by some peoples standards, several farm jobs, manuel labor jobs, a tree nursery, fast food, cashier jobs, baby sitting.

I can't say I honestly care what my job is, as long as I make enough money to make ends meet I'm usually happy.
