-I think it is easier to ask forgiveness than permission.
-I am fairly shy around people I do not know.
-Sometimes when I am nervous about meeting someone new I will babble.
-I have also been called a SAM, only once, but that was enough.
-I love watching others have sex, especially in the same room.
-I love public displays of affection and am very affectionate to anyone I care for.
-I am much happier at a small gathering than a huge party
-Most people would prefer I not sing.
-I love sappy movies.
-I am a chicken and therefore will not watch scary movies.
-When I have PMS, I am not bitchy, but will cry at the drop of a hat.
-I am a bit of a "spelling snob" and if I receive an email full of them I will not respond.

When I was 9, I fell out of a tree that I was climbing, hitting at least 6 branches that I know of on the way down. This left me with cerebral compression, chronic migraines and insomnia. As a result, I know, roughly, when I will die and the cause, and I have known this since I was 10.

I lost my virginity on my 20th birthday. That day created an insatiable monster.
I'm a cuddler.
I can purr with my throat muscles, I dont use my tounge, same with growling.
I was almost eaten 3 times before my 5th birthday. Yes you read that right.
I have a tendancy to seek revenge if I feel betrayed. Have a problem with letting go.
Kinda wonder if Evanesce was serious about maybe giving me to her daughter lol, first tme being a "hand me down"

I've noticed we have a lot of shy folks here, or at least those that don't care much for crowds. I'm not a fan of big get-togethers either, unless I like everyone there. As for shyness, I'm not anymore, but when I was a kid, oh yeah. I remember hiding behind my dad's recliner, or in my bedroom when company came over lol.

Another common thread seems to be awkward laughing/giggling.....I suffer from this as well, I was happy to learn I am not alone.
I was molested as a child, raped in my young teens, yet now play rape is a turn on for me....I chalk it up to being twisted and do not dwell much on it.
I have a 'thing' for military men.
I love to paint.
I write poetry, but rarely share it with others.
Gerbera daisies are my favorite flower.

Actually it was a conscious decision not to remember my dreams...but thank you foe the thought; can also set the alarm early at different intervals, drink alot before bed trying to force you awake during dreaming...and then log your dreams...

Let's see...a few more:
I have OD'd three times bad enough to put me in the hospital, the first one was at 16 and almost killed me.
I suffered from chronic alcohol poisoning for almost a year in my early twenties.
I have now been sober longer than I used.
The one time I baked brownies is still remembered by a few almost 18 years later.
I saw my father's corpse minutes after he died but refused to see him in an open casket and almost twenty-two years later I have yet to go to the memorial home he was placed in.
I got turned onto Alice Cooper after watching him on 'The Muppet Show'.
I can remember being disappointed at age three when my sister was born that I was no longer an only child.
My first memory had to do with the nature of memory and experience, though I had no vocabulary for what I was trying to think about.
I intially turned away from Buddhist philosophy when I was twenty-one because I couldn't accept the concept of 'no-self'.

Some serious inside secrets:

- I love primal play because it is how I deal with the frequent physical abuse I sustained from my step father from the age of 9-almost 18
- I'm the nicest guy inthe universe until you piss me off, then I turn into someone that revels in the pain and anguish I create
- I love the taste of blood
- From the age of 10-22, I was an acoholic, not in terms of functionality, but craving
- From the age of 11-15, I was addicted to cocaine. It ended when I held a friend in my arms while he died of poisoning from a 40/60 mix of rat poison and cocaine that we both did lines out of most of that night
- I have been in an insane asylum 3 times in my life, the most recent this year for 3 days for a self requested evaluation
- I have never killed in my life, I think, but I have made at least 2 dozen people into permanent cripples, including a quadrapalegic
- I consider my daughter the only thing I have done in this world that could be considered salvation for what is left of my soul
- Every time I get an injection for my migraines, I am terrified to sleep, because I might not wake up

And most of all...
- There are times that I am terrified my life now is simply a hallucination and that I am still in the insane asylum I was forcibly checked into when I was 13

another random fact - i spent a month doing some very intensive fieldwork in borneo two years ago (as part of my degree). having seen wild orang-utans in their natural habitat (the only remaining place in the world), elephants and all sorts of other things - including things that weren't there (hallucinations were a large side-effect of the anti-malarial drugs i was taking!), it was the best experience of my life, and it totally changed me...for a while.

I have seen a foul born.

I let my son shave my head when he was 11.
My son was recovering from brain surgery when I found out my mom was dying.
