well what to say in this roll call...

we have a new puppy that is progressing well on house training and such. Mystic kitteh has been in heat and on menses for the past few weeks. Sasha is now 12 years old and still functioning as if she was a puppy and not even feeling her age.

i recovered both mine and my husbands other accounts and am working on processing exactly how our household has changed and will be functioning because i'm in a bit of a confusion fog but it will all work out soon enough that is why all our profiles are hidden.

other than that i have this week is my last week of my first set of classes then i get a week off and start a 12 week section of classes on the 17th and this pregnancy is being rough.

yes my husband and i are expecting an UM due on May 2 2012. im glad this first trimester is almost over because the morning sickness during month 2 was hell and well its still off and on a pain in my butt but it will all work out.

so how is everyone else doing here?

October already.  Both MP and I celebrated birthdays in the last week.  We definitely are getting older.

The fall equinox was just a little while back, but you can hardly tell that by looking out My window.  Most of the leaves have already dropped and supposedly, the first snow happens here on the average on October 12.  It had better be a little later than that because I'm doing a demo on the fifteenth.  (Yes, there really are kink groups up here.  Not many of the tops do fire or florentine flogging, so I have no trouble with play partners.)

Also, I've got a new project in the works, so I'm going to be posting to the boards a LOT less.  This new gig is going to be taking up a lot of My time, so I won't be making as many replies as I used to.  I'll be around by mail more than I will the boards.  (I'm still going to find time to crack that 20,000 thing though.  [8D])

Almost completely back after the summer's surgery fiasco. Happy to say even though I ended up having to do it twice due to complications, this time we got it right and I'm feeling great!

Contra season is in full swing and will continue through January; S and I have been chasing all over California each weekend dancing at the festivals. Been doing some upgrades to the fiddle and it just keeps getting sweeter and sweeter. We're making our band debut at our local contra this coming Saturday. We did a dress-rehearsal for his parents to celebrate their 60th anniversary and worked out the glitches as well as entertained the heck out of them. It's fun to control dancers through music and of course the Domme in me is rejoicing.[:D]

Cabin Boy will have the boat ready for another float around mid-November. Should have stunning weather and easy sailing by then. It will be nice to switch gears and spend several days at sea. Hopefully we'll actually catch some fish this time on the way up.

The kittehs are happy, healthy and safe. I'm thankful every day for the cathouse. They get the benefit of being outdoors whenever they want yet staying completely safe, and I get the benefit of knowing they're fine when I'm away and not worrying about cars, attacks by other animals, or mean people doing despicable things.

Life is great on the Central Coast! Hope everyone is well!

Hi all.. just a note, I've made my profile inactive here -- I have no idea if you can still send me mail but I'm thinking not. I'll still be around but I just got so sick of the load of unsolicited email from people who can't or don't read. If you're on fetlife, you can find me.

Last month I mentioned that my sweet boy kitty was ailing -- we did have to put him to sleep just a week later. Sweetboy was the most attached I've ever been to a pet -- my constant companion and I think I will have a hole in my heart for a long time.

Darling dear boy has a new job finally starting later in the month. In the meantime she got her severance (yea!) and I insisted she go visit her family for a few days. I'll miss her like hell but I'm so glad she's going.

Fun this month will mostly be a couple of overnights to various east coast ren fairs... which we are looking forward to and we're having a Halloween party this year.

This weekend was the contest I judged at a bar and one of my best friends won -- I'm so happy he'll be a great title holder in our leather community. November brings another big weekend and statewide contest that we're going to do some work for.

With any luck, this month will be relatively drama and stress free... I'm hoping!

So sorry about your boy-kitty, Madame4a. I understand the magnitude of your loss. It has been almost 2 years since Bart (my 'animal familiar' kitty) passed at 18.5 and though I took in 3 others right away his loss is still raw. I passionately love the new kids but there was just something about the B-man no one can ever replace. My condolences.[sm=cute.gif]

Madame4a i forgot to mention the loss of your kitteh in my original post i am sorry for your loss and even though none of my pets have died i have had my mystic the first taken out from under me by one of my exes but now i have this crazy mystic the second and she is alot like mystic the first and well the wounds are still there but i enjoy my pets.

i agree Lady H im not ready i got this week of school then i have a week off and start back up for 12 weeks straight but the nice thing is that ill have my associates in like 9 mos for business management.

So sorry to hear about your kitty. It is so hard to lose a pet.

I have moved back to Georgia and spent September getting settled in. I am taking care of my cousin whose health is very bad.

I have lost 55 pounds now. I've gone from barely able to walk around half the block to being able to make a 4 mile hike. My daughter is going to take some new pictures for me.

That about sums it up for me.

Here we are, in October, my favorite month of the year. My two favorite holidays are this month: Halloween and my birthday. Still on the job hunt, still hopeful on that front. Been getting out of the house more with my boyfriend, getting reacquainted with the local community. Munches with the local TNG group are becoming a part of our routine. Hopefully, Malakk will get a job with normal hours soon, so we can go to some of the other activities that occur during the week.
