WOW!!! One time when I was driving the truck into Western Nebraska, lightning struck the shoulder of the road right by the front fender of the truck!! That was amazing! And LOUD!!!

When i was 14 years old, i was on a plane flying through a storm. Outside my window i watched a bolt of lightning.
For an instant, it looked as though it was a giant oak tree made of white fire. That's something that stays with you to be sure !

Oh man, a new pair of underwear for me!!!

I was driving down I-75 a few years back and saw lightning strike the road one lane over and 4 car lengths ahead. It was inches from the front bumper of another car.

For some obscure reason, that car pulled over to the shoulder right after.

Probably to extract the seat cushions from their assholes!!
