Hi im 22 looking to get some more info on bdsm and power exchange. Wonder if any groups would invite an inexperienced person to a event or meeting. Or if any individual currently working with the local scenes or sub would be willing to mentor or just throw a little more information my way.

You do not need an invitation to attend munch. To find the munches that are in your area read the FAQ section which is the first thread in Introduce Yourself. Go to munch and talk to the people. Many are very willing to share their knowledge with a newbie. (Warning, do not go to munch with the attitude of a horny guy looking to get laid.) Be friendly. Most first time attendees will not be invited to a play party at their first munch. Most munches prefer people to attend 2 or 3 munches to prove that they really are interested in BDSM and not just finding some sex. Good luck.

You could also google your city and BDSM munch to find out if there is a munch. We have a munch in Yuma but that is most likely too far for you to attend unless you are in El Centro.

The scene is not made up of kinks, but rather of people who do kink. In other words, people are necessary to keep things running. Most groups will be happy to have new people come.
