It took a week of web posts, phone calls, and frankly some pretty shitty conduct non the part of Fox's call center (with more than 20 years of tech support experience ,,, I know when they're call dumping), fo is finally addressing the occupation. And I gotta say, it's a better article than I expected... their local tv coverage has been surly... Though that asshole VB (short for 'virgin boy' when he PRETENDED to be homosexual on the howie car show ) is getting a visit from the marchers right now.

But here's the fox article concerning the Wall Street group.

Seven hundred protesters were reportedly locked up in New York on Saturday because they didn’t bother to get a parade permit and preferred to seize the Brooklyn Bridge while it was being used by traffic. While a police video clearly shows the protesters were told they would be arrested if they moved onto the bridge, their supporters are complaining long and loud about the mean old police officers. “Our bridge,” they chanted. It’s our bridge, too, they discovered.

Before, we weren't supposed to get scholarships, so we went and got loans
Now we shouldn't get loans because a future is out of our peon budget
Up Next? Probably that the middle class should shut the fuck up and keep their kids futureless and at home

The video from sunday clearly shows thepolice led them onto the bridge and stopped about third of the way and stopped turned around and started putting up the netting and then arresting people.

Man, you've got some pretty serious fantasy life... you masturbate to that shit? Only problem is those crowds are real and the fox pipe you're sucking on isn't ... I saw their broadcast locally here tonight and they didn't have a chance to mention that there were more than 1000 outside their beacon hill office earlier. And your predictions? The won't work... you've got no clue as to then structure that exists. and I won't waste my time to explain it to you. There something different built into the way this works that sort of rules it out altogether. I'm not saying some dick-sucking sycophant of the koch brothers typical of the tea party's strategic elements can't somewhere somehow deliver the right bribe to the right cop.

Oh, where to begin. I got bored with hippie-chicks a good while back, and married a preacher's daughter. The tapping is covered [;)]

I don't watch Fox, any more often than I watch MSNBC, and it's rare for either.

What I'm forming my impressions about the protesters from, is what they and their adoring fans are putting out. Yes, terrible, terrible things have happened to people, and there are tales that will rip at the heartstrings. OK. I'm listening. What do they want to do about it? What is the solution?

"Trade capitalism for democracy."

Well, that's both completely useless, and highly explanatory at the same time, isn't it? They just don't have any idea who they are.

There is a C) in the mix, if they form up on an articulate leader, who gets the source of their energy, instead of merely getting how to exploit it. I'm not giving that guy or gal, whoever they might be, much chance of getting through the Teamsters, and the punks who are just going to want to liberate some new sneakers, or the long green line of angry young leftists who have themselves convinced that the world is ripe for their revolution.

Show me solutions that aren't leftie pipedreams and gobblygook. Maybe I'll come around.
