Status: offline 		In "Etnicity" you can choose "African American". But people from Ghana, Niger or South Africa who are... who are... who... have the same skin color as African Americans  ... are not American at all. So what should be there instead of / additional to African American?

Because our population consists of people from all over the world, we would be hard pressed
with being able to list them all without exclusion.
Therefore, where the question of ethnicity needs to be answered, there is always an Other
box that can be checked off with a place to write in their ethnicity.

I don't see why they don't just forget about it, drop the whole question/option. You wanna say, say. You don't, then make someone ask.

Forget about it may be a good option. However, some African people may WANT to state that they are African (of African origin).
After some discussion in other thread, I this that the combo box should be deleted. And I have changed mine in "other". But there is no option to write "African" nor something similar, and actually I think this is a little bit discriminating.
If they have to make a combo box, then try to cover the world, not the USA. I think.

Status: offline 		I want an option for Norwegian American, dammit!!! That's how I identify. I was raised in this country by Norwegian immigrants & my Father's ancestor came over on the Mayflower. I don't like the option of Caucasian or White. I'm actually kind of pinky-orange.

Status: offline 		Why not leave it up those those it applies to---to decide.   I have African American friends who don't want to be called anything but American's and consider themselves BLACK however others prefer to be called African American, or colored.   What is your deal anyways---you are annoying as hell with this shit?
