Actually, my best friend was looking at profiles on the other side a couple of days ago, and she said it reminded her of the People of Walmart website.

Have you stoped to think that a lot of people don't like cameras. They think to much about what they will end up looking like. And really on a site like this that can make some peope feel bad. I get a lot of comments about how I would look better if I smiled. But the truth is I know my picture is being taken and unless someone screams smile(which normally looks fake) I just don't feel the urge. Besides I'm a mean, pushy, controling bitch....honesty in advertizing don't you know.

Your photo is nice, Miss, smile or not. On the other side though, since it is a dating website, doesn't it make sense to have a flattering picture? That would be true on a vanilla website, I think it is equally true here. If your first thought on looking at a picture is " I wouldn't want to meet that guy in a dark alley", then you are probably not going to be interested in meeting the person. Especially if you are nervous about dating, let alone BDSM. No wonder so many people complain that they never meet anyone here.

Others have photos that are not even of themselves. So I wouldn't draw any conclusions based on the profile pictures. Remember, the very nature of this site makes many people reluctant to post face shots. Lastly, would you really give up on the lifestyle because peoples' pictures look depressing? Really? If you went to a sex website like AdultFriendFinder, and saw faces that didn't look happy, would you give up sex? Or if you went to a culinary website and saw pictures that didn't look happy, would you give up eating? Those may sound like extreme examples, but hopefully they help you see how silly your comment sounds. Hopefully, you aren't really so easily swayed in your decisions.

Good discussion guys. At least my feet look a lot happyier than some of these profiles have seen. I've been thinking of changing it actually after reading message after message of "OMG FEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETTTTT <entire message>". Hmm...what should I put in it?

Hey, in my defense I suffer from Clint Eastwood Syndrome. My face is naturally set in a scowl. So when I smile, I basically get a flat line with my lips instead of a happy curve. I look...grim ? But there are dozens of us worldwide that suffer from this terrible affliction, and we will not be ignored! Unite!

I agree with you that it should be a flattering picture, sweetness. The issue would be deciding what is flattering and what isn't. As I said I get told I should smile a lot, but(think about this for a second) this isn't a normal dating site(vomits at the thought of "dating") I am domme, hear me roar...meow...guys talk to me because they want to know if I have an edge to me. I do so I figure it might as well show in my pictures. Besides this isn't high school and my parents aren't paying for my pictures. I'm not smiling just because some guy said I shoulddoes a little dance oh and no one asked but who would rather see stalker cry than smile? My vote is for bawling baby boy.
