I had to make a photo montage to music for school, and this is what I came up with.

The flashing psychedelic pattern didn't work out the way I had hoped, but the rest did.

What do you think?

the music is great, and yeah, the psychedelic thing was abit off on timing..(but was still cool), and GREAT choices in pics!!

Pretty cool

I agree with Greedy about the psychedelic image....but....one of the repeats on that was good....the one where it flashes faster.....if you can change that on the rest of them I think it will come off better.

I agree as well, I liked the repeated motif of the woman walking away for the "I almost had you" line, especially how you managed to not repeat a picture.

As far as the flashing psychedelic things, maybe you could try getting a video screen capture of the song playing on Media Player using a cool visualization on full screen. You could cut and paste the parts you want into your montage as video clips, so the visualization would fit the music.

Easy like Sunday morning, my Dear.

First hide your task bar [right click on start > click on properties > select the taskbar tab > uncheck "Keep the taskbar on top of other windows"].

Then play the song with Media Player in full screen mode and use a video screen capture program (I use Debut from NCH)  to grab the visual.

Save it and then use a video editor (I use VideoPad, also from NCH) to get the exact clips you want, save each individually. Then use a video splitter (I use the SolveigMM one) to remove the audio track from the clips. Save them and drop them into your movie in MovieMaker.
