Wait, what is your carier? I have been waiting and waiting to upgrade to the Iphone I still have a few months but At&t wouldn't work with me even though I have been with them for about 8 years!!!

I'm with AT&T also. I had to do some talkin to get it. I knew T Mobile had a deal so when I called I told the sales associate that I had to have one for my business and why I needed it.  I then implied I would have to change carriers if I couldn't get them to do it for the $50 upgrade deal. She asked me to hold and went to her supervisor or pretended to and she told me they would give me the deal. I have been with AT&T for 11 years sort of. Actually I had Cingular witch merged with AT&T.


Edited to add if you only have 3 months left they will usually let you have the upgrade early without too much trouble.

yeah I had them since it was Cingular too and they wouldnt work with me which really got to me because my phone is a POS! I have had to replace the track ball countless times, it freezes every few minutes and I just can't use it right. They said they wouldn't do an early upgrade and that the phone would be like $300 if I wanted it now.
