A very interesting turn!

Something Republicans angled for a number of times only to be beaten back by Democrats.

Looks like its here to stay now.

That he brought it out and fundamentally changed Senate rules to pass a bill that is almost certain to die in The House is even more curious.

Not to mention...there will come a time when GOP will control the Senate and the White House.

That is not the nuclear option. The 'nuclear option' is doing away with the cloture process and going to time limited debate on every bill like the House. The entire article is GOP propoganda over a stalling tactic that is a violation of Senate procedure.

And.. Republicans will dismiss democrats complaining about it when the balance of power shifts.

If one learns anything about politics, it is that for many, outrage is directly proportional whether or not the letters match - letters being the D or R next to the name of the complainer and that of the party in control.
