DarkSteven -> Samboct (10/7/2011 10:18:28 AM)

Samboct happened to have a professional meeting this week five miles from my house. So we got together for dinner st Gunther Toody's (think what this country would be like if Elvis conquered the world). We discussed techie stuff, different places to live, and Colorado in general.

And I flirted with the waitress, who was called Tweety. :)

Ladies, the guy's single, educated, and nice. Snap him up!

I thought Sam is pretty nice on the boards or at least where I know him surprisingly so considering its the gun-slinging P&R section! [:)]

Hi Steven

I too enjoyed putting a real face to the person on the boards- plus its nice to hang out with people after you've been "pen pals" for awhile or perhaps "netizens" together. Tweety was cute, wasn't she- and she liked you....

Steven was the first person I've met in person off hanging out on these boards- I hope he's not the last.

Lady H- if you want to bury the hatchet- I'm not carrying a grudge.

Steven- thanks again for getting me out of the damn tech center and showing me a fun part of Denver.

Cheers,

Sam

Agreed, we talk fairly often on the phone or exchange emails, he's a great guy with a good sense of humor and we hope to meet up at some time when one of us is crossing the pond. He said he'd come to visit but I think he's scared of my doggies - Peon can vouch for the doggies (took him 10 minutes to get over his fear and then he started cooing over the sweeties, thank heavens they're too big to be smuggled out in a backpack or I'd possibly be minus at least one dog).

Seriously ladies, if you like your guys brainy and funny, I can't recommend Sam enough!

Hi Lady C

No, I'm not afraid of the doggies (just allergic)- it's the damn cats! Actually, my last girlfriend had a cat- we got along fine although I was a bit annoyed I couldn't take the animal for a walk. Had a leash and everything. Nope, just have to work on getting back over the pond....

Cheers,

Sam

PS- Thanks for the kind words!

LadyConstanze -> RE: Samboct (10/13/2011 4:45:41 PM)

No worries about the doggies, Dobies have no undercoat and don't hair a lot. Now if you can take any of the cats for a walk and still have all your limbs, I'd be so impressed that I'd ditch my other half and bag you myself [;)]
