Heythere! anyway me and sir are looking for two collars. One will be an everyday and never take it off collar and the other would be my "play" collar for serving. Do any of you know where I can get a work apropriate collar for the everyday? Any other advice regarding collars or collaring is much appreciated! thank you lots

I personally know of several D/s types who choose to use a necklace as a symbolic collar. I've also seen something like this or this used also. It looks like a necklace, but for those "in the know" it suggests something more. Edited to add: This one is rather nice. Delicate looking (except for the heart which seems a tad on the large side), yet definitely collar-like in that it requires a key to remove.

I just wear two normal bracelets on each arm. It works for us.

my Mistress has given me a silver neclace with a lock pendant on it for everyday and a forman red one for play. as i work in a hospitial i have to be able to remove my collar due to the steel pendant or for surgery for sterility in surgery. now each person and situation will be diffrent some i know have a special ring or other plain item to be worn.

He bought the every day collar at the Sears jewelry counter. Also have a couple rings that serve the same function. Anything he buys me to wear becomes my collar. There isn't just one type of item that can be a collar. Your collar could also be some lovely earrings.

My everyday never take it off collar is a necklace I have gotton compliments on how pretty it is. To others it is just a necklace but we know what it represents and that is all that matters. I do have a play cillar but we don't use it often it is a plain black unadorned collar. Matt's littleone

Master chose a gold necklace for my collar. It has hearts and x's representing kisses and hugs. It is very beautiful and I have had a lot of compliments on it. Only Master and I and my family know its' meaning. It has never come off except for surgical or testing proceedures.

Etsy.com Ive searched it extensively and there has got to be something you would like. Plus I think some of the artists do custom work as well. just type in bdsm, collars, chokers, or *necklaces* into the search and a billion things will pop up. or Google it, there are sites for custom collars... or check some adult toy sites, there selection usually isn't very good though...

The most important location for the 'collar' isn't around the sub's neck so much as in the mind of the couple. I had a sub for several years who was a legal secretary. A law office is NOT a kink-friendly environment. Her 'collar' was a sterling toe ring with My initials on it. Use your imagination.

Mine is clearly seen in my profile picture. It has no way of being removed without breaking it as he removed the clasp and fixed it on without. It's not a pretty necklace but it's not pug-ugly either. I didn't get any say in it, nor did I have any hand in deciding what it'd be. It wouldn't have mattered what it was as I really wouldn't have cared. He made heavy leather collar and cuffs for other purposes. agirl

Very nice collar, Raenam602, but probably more than most are willing to wear to work... :-) I like the idea of an anklet or anklets for that purpose, easy to conceal, but still there...

I wear a silver necklace with a unique heart pendant on it normally. But it's too delicate for play. Sometimes he'll put a leather play collar on me.
