On Roe V. Wade

Which of the following statements has Mitt made?

“I believe that since Roe v. Wade has been the law for 20 years that we should sustain and support it. And I sustain and support that law and the right of a woman to make that choice.”

“And that is why, as a pro-life Republican, I am in favor of having the Supreme Court overturn Roe v. Wade.”

This whole thing bothers me. As humans we grow, change, evolve. For someone to come out of the womb holding a particular view and never changing, even as circumstances change, strikes me as absolute madness. Yet, it's required to be taken seriously as a candidate.

True.That`s totally reasonable.

I`d like Mitt to explain it though.Tell us about his personal transformation.

My guess is it`s more calculating than that.

He`ll be challanged on it no doubt.He has a rep. as a flip-flopper.

How he handles it will also count, as much as the flip-flop does.

Actually, the explanation is already given. he said he had an epiphany over stem cell research...
