Many today are under the false impression that Mormonism is merely another Christian denomination, when in actuality, Mormon beliefs are not only unbiblical, but anti-Christian. Officially founded in 1830 by Joseph Smith Jr. (1805-1844). Smith claimed to have had a personal visit from God the Father at the age of 15, who introduced him to Christ. Jesus then supposedly told him not to join any church because they were all wrong and all the Christian church's doctrines "were an abomination". Among other things they believe that Jesus had many wives, and that there are many gods (they are polytheistic), they recieved these revelations from a Moron by the name of Moroni. _____________________________________________________________ Jeez, so many conservatives arguing that America is a 'Christian Nation' (all over out here) and founded on 'Christian values' and one of their hard right factions, the teabaggers even going so far as to say, 'Its in the Constitution'......... Seems to me that someone should coordinate policy or it may appear that the Grand Old Party is floundering. _____________________________________________________________ Part of the Church's income goes to operate an elaborate internal welfare system so its members avoid any governmental assistance. _____________________________________________________________ A socialist organization. The bane of conservatives. Seems to me that someone should coordinate policy or it may appear that the Grand Old Party is floundering. _____________________________________________________________ And of course there is the Mountain Meadows Massacre, a slaughter of Americans who were 'unbelievers'. _____________________________________________________________ From 1849 to 1978, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) had a policy against ordaining black men of African descent to the priesthood. Under the policy, black men and women of African descent could not hold the priesthood, and were also prohibited from participating in the temple Endowment and sealings, ordinances that the church teaches are necessary for the highest degree of salvation. However, the LDS Church has always had an open membership policy for all races, and black people who were aware of the racial policy did join the church. In 1978, church leaders ceased the racial restriction policy for black men, declaring that they had received a revelation instructing them to do so. _____________________________________________________________ So, like the Muslim brotherhood, The Moronic Brotherhood is steeped in a long tradition of a racist, socialist organization, do not believe in the Christian orthodoxy, have some history of slaughtering unbelievers, and have Apostles and Elders whos word is final, much like the Ayatollahs and Imams. Additionally the family unit was sort of smudged around there unlike the DOMA and whatnot the conservatives are defending to the hilt. Maybe Hermann Lame the pizzaguy shouldn't stand so close to the High Priest, Bishop and Stake President of the Latter Day Saints, Mr. Foot Rummy 'all american, fiscal, capitalist, true conservative', and republican presidential candidate and loser for the 2012 presidency ........ Seems to me that someone should coordinate policy or it may appear that the Grand Old Party is floundering.
