Because Big Food makes Big Finance look like amateurs.

The Occupy Wall Street protests grew out of anger at the outsized power of banks. But as they've expanded nationwide, the uprisings have evolved into a kind of running challenge to the way power is concentrated in all aspects of our economy—concentrated into the hands of people with an interest in maintaining the status quo.

No doubt, the financial sector is a stunning example. This MoJo chart shows how the 10 largest banks came to hold 54 percent of US financial assets, up from 20 percent in 1990. As big banks gobbled smaller banks and became megabanks, they managed to extract more and more wealth out of the economy. Even after the epochal meltdown and bailout, the financial sector now claims fully a third of US corporate profits. They've invested a chunk of that windfall in what is probably Washington's most formidable lobbying machine—which is precisely how they managed to slither away unscathed despite the economic carnage they caused.

But other economic sectors are similarly concentrated, and have a comparable grip on public policy. Consider the industry I cover. Our national food policy is both in desperate need of reform and utterly trapped under the heel of industry influence. So, as Occupy Wall Street evolves, food policy should be on the plate. Here are four reasons why:

I have a plan. OWS is not very organized right now because there are not enough Chiefs and too many Indians. My perfect job market actually. The food situation is worse than alot of people think. The food is making people sick, I can see it every day. When I see a very old Man who can still function and has strength, if I find out what he eats it is usually not fast food, cakes and candies, in fact alot of it is usually cooked at home. Then I see people younger than me in terrible shape and I see how they eat. I noted the difference.

But weak people, weak in the mind who live to eat rather than eat to live propogate this shit. We the people supply the demand, industry responds. Of course there are alot of greedy motherfuckers out there, but if they didn't respond properly to the market their greed would be unfulfilled. The problem is to feed yourself without them. Can you do it ?

This is not the biggest political issue, or at least won't be when this shit is straightened out. The people must speak and I might just join up if it keeps up, and I am a devious motherfucker too, I would be an asset. The enemy would REALLY have some bad luck. And our side will have a run of good luck.

But let me just mention one thng - drugs. Notice around you how many people are on some sort of medication, and I mean for the head, SSRIs and Thorazine, shit like that. It changes their mood, it is SUPPOSED TO ! And that is exactly why I will never take any of it at all. The shit I do I know what it will do to me. I have no interest in the latest designer drug, nor even aspirin. I think many of the trustees of modern chemistry actually figured some things out in the world and can't handle the facts. One of which is ther eis no solution that is without serious pain.

But think about it, we have such good prenatal care, good families and upbringing for our kids, great nutrition and the best possible multicultural experience for all yet we breed mostly illiterate criminals. Well the ones who are literate get into banking, the rest go into government. And that is the best we can do !

If we don't educate people, young people, and fast we are in deep trouble. I mean for them to learn cause and effect, shoot guns, ride around on gokarts without helmets, have real fun. Stay away from girls until they grow a bit, learn math and science, and not from a fucking videogame, from doing real experiments with a chemistry set. Others play with an electronic kit set, yet other tinker with something, help someone work on a car or something. Do something useful in life.

Back then Grampa would never accept that you can't do something useful. You find SOMETHING useful, and in his own words - "Make them pay you". They will not pay you willingly. If you would do it for free they would take you up on it. You have to be ready to quit if they are too bad of assholes. Well that used to work until the labor market became such a buyer's mrket. But then they now go to the lowest bidder and they are getting what they pay for and now they get more for their money in other countries.

You know why ? Because in other countries their elite have had more time to beat down the common Man and take all his rights and wealth away. So US citizens, do not whine about this, it has happened before.

Maybe happines is a warm gun. I knew a guy who knew John Lennon, in fact I just cut him loose. No big thing. But why was the gun warm ?
