Okay, i have a question, there are all these new products coming out that imply false lashes mascara and it coats your lashes with this stuff that makes them this and that. Now, maybe i am lucky, i only need mascara to color the tips of my lashes, because they are long just half black and half blond. So when i put on mascara, my lashes while not really thick are long and full. Do you as a woman like this new type of mascara that is coming out where some of it actually puts falsies sorta on your lashes or makes them look like a board of black rather than individual lashes and coats them really thick. I am just curious because i presume there is a market for it, i just don't see how having all that gunk on your lashes is comfortable. angel

i've never used them; i don't really like the idea of them. the mascara i like is maybelline lash stiletto -- it defines each one individually and never ever seems to clump up. ever. i love that stuff.

I use Cover Girl LashBlast, or BeneFit BadGal in Plum. I like colored mascara. Evidently the gobs od mascara look is the runway fashion this year. I prefer enhancement, rather than clumps.

ooooh another nice one -- Wet 'n Wild protein mascara! my eyelashes grew really well with that stuff. plus, it was cheap ^_^

I am the same way -- enhancement -- like i said, i need something to make the blonde tips black to show the length. I don't get how anyone likes all that gunk on their lashes. I use almay mascara that helps pop green eyes. Forgot what its called. angel

There are a few things that I don't mind spending money and makeup is one of them ... when I find something that I really like. Mascara all comes down to the brush for me. I don't want cluming and I don't want my eyes to look like I smeared gook all over them. Enhancement is for me. I like the BadGal mascara and Dior.

It depends on how I do my makeup, and whether the mascara dries well or not. If for whatever reason I'm doing super heavy eye makeup (going to a club or whatever) then yeah the extreme almost fuzzy looking lashes are awesome, so long as it dries fast and doesn't get flakey. Otherwise though, no.

In a phrase, hell no. I like looking like I have on false lashes (my seldom shared combo is Maybelline Lash Stiletto, followed by either maybelline The Falsies or L'oreal Voluminous, and cleaned up a bit with a clean mascara wand) since I really can't bother with real ones because I wear glasses. But the gunk on the tips? Bleh. Stuck together lashes? Gross. And for lash tinting and subtle definition without tons of product, I use maybelline's full and soft. I can use this on men when I do makeup for photoshoots.

I just don't bother with mascara any more, usually because it's hard to find one that won't over emphasize my already ample lashes. Once upon a time I use to use heavy mascaras for certain cosplays and events where over-the-top was the objective. I can say the heavy mascaras are never comfortable if clumpy, and no matter how water proof they claimed to be, there was always risk of slight rub-off through the night. When it comes to any make-ups in general I like a natural looking face, so false-looking anything is a big fat no in my books.

Being a blonde with blonde eyelashes means I'd look like a raccoon with thick black mascaras smeared all over my lashes. I like Revlon Lash fantasy in Bronze remix. It goes with my eye shadow well and really makes my eyes pop out. I use it on the top lashes only, since I wear glasses all the time.

Everytime I wear mascara it just messes with my contacts. [>:] Glumpier always makes it worse.

My eyes have gotten really sensitive over the years -- where i used to be able to wear mascara all day, now it irritates easily.

When those Latisse commercials came out, I was WTF? But now I understand. My formerly mile long lashes are NOT what they were...so while I don't wear it often, mascara makes a huge difference. Iuse one of the brow combs to deal with clumps. Liner wise, I use maybelline unstoppable, it has good staying power.

I actually saw a serum by L'oreal. I think it was, at CVS on Friday. It said it was used as a basecoat under mascara, and it helped lashes grow fuller. Since all I wear is a bit of eyeliner and mascara to show I actually do have lashes, it isn't something I would try, but it may work for others.

I don't know how people can use those serums, i would be so worried it woud mess with my eyes. And you only got 2!

my daughter wears the new heavy mascaras that are out. She likes the way it makes her eyes pop out even more, she likes the whole burlesque look they give her face. She also likes to wear fake eyelashes for the same reason. Me personally I rarely wear mascara because my eyes are way too sensitive to most and they just bother me. I will wear some for special occasions. I don't have a particular brand. I just look for something really light, nothing outrageous, no weird colors....just light and usually black or brown.

fake eyelashes are fun, i admit, but i only use them for costumes. i wouldn't go out in them because i'd feel like that was "false advertising" hahaha =p i might try one of these mascaras for shows because you don't always have time to put on eyelashes at a fast-paced show with too-little changing room. =p Latisse scares me; i dunno why you'd risk something that could change your eye color permanently... especially when the results of Latisse go away pretty quickly after you stop using it. i have heard of people using castor oil, applied with a bare mascara-type brush, or with a thin eyeliner brush, to boost eyelash growth/thickness -- it does that for the hair on your head, too.
