DarkSteven -> What are the odds? (10/16/2011 8:06:35 AM)

A civilian impersonating a cop pulls over a cop impersonating a civilian.  http://www.denverpost.com/watercooler/ci_19067646?obref=obnetwork

Things did not go well for the civilian.

Lol, I saw that somewhere and thought it was hysterical. I like how the cop impersonator claims he wasn't doing that, not sure what he was doing then.

Oh man, that is priceless!  Hopefully it will help the dude realize he sucks as a criminal.

gungadin09 -> RE: What are the odds? (10/16/2011 11:27:43 AM)

The dumbest part is that the faker already had a warrant out against him.

pam

soul2share -> RE: What are the odds? (10/16/2011 8:56:46 PM)

No, pam, the dumber part is thinking he's gonna show up for this charge!!!!!  Another month, he'll have another warrant in the system.

But I would've loved to see the idiot's face when the cop badged him!  D'OH!

That's one thing I could never figure out. Why would someone want to drive around in a used "Crown Vic" "pretending they're a cop?
I mean where's the "payoff?" It must be VERY BORING driving around like that at night being a "wannbe."
Is it some type of sexual thing? Do they get a boner or something? It seems to be restricted to males, I've never heard of a female doing this.
And the obvious question, if they want to be a cop why don't they just take the exam?
Now if I was going to be a "wannabe" I'd be a "wannabe" Firefighter!
You could have a red pickup truck with a water tank, pump and hose in it. You could wear a fire helmet, boots, firecoat and carry an axe.
If you had a good bit of land you could light shit on fire and then put it out!
And, if you were rich you could even buy your own fire truck! They don't care who buys them as long as you have the money!
You could be in the Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas parades with your friends drinking beer in the truck.
You could even spec it out to have a bathroom in the back compartment. You tell the factory what you want on the truck and they'll do it!
And if you lived in the country far away from the nearest fire station who wouldn't want a fully equipped fire truck next door? You and your neighbor's insurance rates would go down; "1,500 feet from the nearest firetruck." You just start your own volunteer fire dept with your neighbors.
Now doing all that stuff would be a blast!
Much more fun than riding around in a car on a dark night with a hard-on!

I assume that the fake cop would shake down victims.

Termyn8or -> RE: What are the odds? (10/17/2011 6:21:19 AM)

Shake down ? That would be the smart ones. In Ohio years ago it was not called Impersonating, it was called Personating a police officer. As usual I knew someone who got busted for it :-) The sentence was minimal.

But really, could you imagine "busting" a guy with like millions worth of drugs in his car ? If I did that shit I would just go back to my car, pretend to be on the radio or something and come back and tell him to give me a bunch of weed. I'd say "OK, you paid the toll" LOL. And of course that he was lucky that I won't write him a ticket for no seat belt.

This guy better STFU because this could blow all out of proportion. If they decide to make it hard on him we could be talking illegal detainment and some other shit, fraud, kidnapping, all depends on what exactly he did. If there are no tapes the undercover guy(s) could say just about anything. He better not piss them off.

But why a guy does this ? Percieved power, badge envy. Now the sinister thought - why are real cops cops ?

T^T

Steven, you mean like rob them? That's serious business,  they could get in big trouble for that.

littlewonder -> RE: What are the odds? (10/17/2011 10:10:11 AM)

we've had three cases here in Baltimore within the last 2 months of two men dressed as policemen, entering people's homes, tying them up and robbing them. One of the victims was beaten.

I've also heard of cases of men dressing up as policemen, pulling over a woman and raping her. The uniform is seen as an authority figure by most people and an easy way to get people to let down their guard.

Boy, it's a good thing they don't try that in my house!
"I hate cops!" Can you imagine the looks on their faces? LOL
"Boom! Boom! Boom!"

Termyn8or -> RE: What are the odds? (10/17/2011 4:38:42 PM)

"Steven, you mean like rob them? That's serious business, they could get in big trouble for that."

Bullshit, go into court and say "this MF ripped me off for five pounds of weed " !

And to get real about it, many doods have gotten busted with 50 pounds, but only got busted with one pound. The cops kept the other 49. They made a deal, and that only happens if it is good shit.

Don't be bringing that fucking schwag shit into my town. We want the finest kush. Bring that and at least you don't go to jail, much......
