he could have just as easily done this with the gps that's already available on smartphones. It's not something new and it's happened before.

Imo if you need this to know your spouse is cheating on you then you already knew before needing the app.

This is just a new Iphone 4S sensationalist story. I have had a company do this exact thing for corparations to follow their workers for about two and half years. I think most people have that inner instinct tapping away at the inside of their mind when their partner is fucking them over and would be advised to listen to this. I have found that the "gut feeling" or" inner voice" "common sense" in some people is the one to follow not an app pinpointing where he/she is being a cheating cunt.

Of course the "gut feeling" is a good indicator, but it can be wrong. Some people are just too jealous and think that their partner is cheating when it is not. And some partner like over-jealous people anyway.

So, such a consensual "watch" is an interesting option for some people. It can even be element of a kink. Nobody forces anybody to use it, so it is good that technology give people the option.
