I bought a collar for my slave a few months back and she had to remove it because because her boss had asked her to saying it was too pronounced. I am shopping around for a smaller collar but I just can't find anything online that is small enough for her. She is 5 feet tall with a tiny neck. Anyone else had this problem before?

Why not go for a necklace or bracelet that can be worn all the time and to work? When Master collared me, he got me a gold necklace that has hearts and x's on it. Gold simply because I can't wear anything besides gold or sterling silver without breaking out. The only people that know the meaning of the necklace are Master, myself, and my grown daughters. When Master wants a collar for a session, he puts a dog collar on me or a velcro collar. Also a necklace, you can get in just about any length, therefore, you will be able to find one that will fit your slave. It doesn't have to be a locking collar for everyday wear. Mine has never come off except for surgical proceedures or medical testing. Gold holds up really well for everyday wear. Sterling silver will need to be taken off to be cleaned as it will turn dark in color. You will also be able to go to any jewelry store and have your slave help you pick it out, and try it on to see how it fits. Good luck.

IntimateDarkness, You could also attach a little pendant that closes somewhat in the style of a lock. Some of these actually look like tiny Master Locks, or yet again are rendered in the likeness of a heart maybe with a keyhole displayed in the front or present in the back. -Sasha

Not knowing what kind of collar her boss would call too pronounced and agreeing with the other two posters, there are a lot of different collars out there. All you have to do is decide what sort of collar you have in mind and narrow your search in that direction. Is it a leather collar or steel? Is it something that is available at a jewelery store like a gold or silver necklace? Is it something found at a fetish site on line? Are there fetish stores in your area that you can visit with her? Is it something you can make yourself? Ibi and I made her first collar back in 1975 for about $2. Half the fun is in the quest and the other half is in finding it and placing it on her neck. Her neck is the key... a collar is on the neck, everything else is a symbol of commitment. That is also a possibility and you as the Master must make that the ultimate choice. a tiny neck -- is her neck very short, or very slim? or both? maybe you could go for a slim chain? are you wanting something fairly simple? my neck is short (i guess like the rest of me, i'm 5' tall) and so "small" collars like 1in. wide still look really big on me. chains and other diameters that look normal on other people look really big on me, too. if her boss is very concerned about this, how about a collar from www.bondagecollars.com -- Chaotic Creations makes some of the prettiest vanilla-passable collars i've ever seen. they use lots of patterned metals and wire and such, and it just looks like jewelry (i don't think they're quite in production mode yet, though -- the site says he will take orders now, but doesn't know when he can get things out because of moving/renovations, etc) ringofsteel.net shows a 1/4in. diameter collar, which is pretty slim, while still having the lovely look that their collars have. but if it's a really conservative work environment, a really fine grade of jewelry chain might work really well.

My ex worked in a law office. Non kink friendly workplace to say the least. Her collar was a sterling toe ring with my initials in it. The neck isn't the important thing about a collar. The mind is what is important.

Some people do just like the look/feel of something more "collar-like;" nothing wrong with finding workable options that still fit that general aesthetic.

That is why I suggest OP go to the Sears link. My collar from Sears is flat and fairly wide. It fits like a choker.
