What she does with HER business is HER choice.  She hasn't "urged" others not to hire anyone.

The OP is false. [8|]

The first line of her blog title says it all... no matter how hard you wish to deny it.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/10/19/tea-party-melissa-brookstone-occupy-wall-street_n_1020710.html

...While seemingly extreme, Brookstone's rhetoric about the Occupy Wall Street movement has been matched by others, including Tea Party-backed Rep. Allen West (R-Fla.).

In an interview with Newsmax Tuesday, West, like Brookstone, claimed that the progressive movement had ties to more nefarious political groups.

"I think there is a danger in the people on Capitol Hill starting to embrace this movement, especially now that we know that the American Nazi Party and the American Communist Party are also starting to align themselves with this Occupy movement," he said, before contending that the Tea Party was a more focused movement, united in its desires.

"When you talk to somebody with the Tea Party, they can tell you what they want -- limited government that’s constitutionally mandated, fiscal responsibility, they also want to see our free market and free enterprise systems adhered to, as well as our national security."

MasterSlaveLA -> RE: Is this really what the Tea Party wants? (10/19/2011 2:53:31 PM)

The first line of her blog title references SOCIALISM... not "urging" anyone "not to hire" -- no matter how hard you wish to deny it.

MasterSlaveLA -> RE: Is this really what the Tea Party wants? (10/19/2011 2:56:33 PM)

Wrong... blog title references SOCIALISM, not "urging" anyone "not to hire".  The OP is false.

tazzygirl -> RE: Is this really what the Tea Party wants? (10/19/2011 2:57:21 PM)

Resolved that: Our President, the Democrats-Socialists, most of the media, and most of those from Hollywood, have now encouraged and supported "Occupy" demonstrations in our streets, which are now being perpetrated across the globe, and which are being populated by various marxists, socialists and even communists, and are protesting against business, private property ownership and capitalism, something I thought I'd never see in my country, in my lifetime.

Again, from her blog.

So she has called for a strike by small businesses against those in the Occupy movement.

1) Yup, Obama made America so anti-business that this women who owns a small business has put a stop to hiring anyone.

Her business... her choice... free country.

Exactly and if her business suffers from it her fault. Thats how the free market works.
Yup... though if anything, one less expense will help her bottom line.

2) Does it matter if her business is expanding or if she needs the help?

Show where she's stated her "business is expanding" or that she needs extra "help"?!!

It doesnt matter even if she was doing good or expanding. She wouldnt be hiring anyways. So whats you point?
Can't put forth the premise that her biz is "expanding" or that she needs extra "help" if you don't know.  More likely that her biz has suffered, along with most small businesses.

3) Where did I state she was urging anyone?

The OP falsely stated she is "urging" other businesses "not to hire a single person".  The OP is false.

Yes because I am OP
Hello OP.

Yup and her business loses to another business because they were able to expand when she refused to because wanted to stick it Obama that's her choice. Thats how the free market works.

Once again does it matter if she needs the help or not. She wont hire either way. You must know her business is doing badly or why the hell would she be saying that wont hire anyone as a way to stick it to Obama. Her business must be doing bad for her to write a post about how she wont hire anyone to keep unemployment levels high.

You are either bad at sarcasm or do believe I am the OP

MasterSlaveLA -> RE: Is this really what the Tea Party wants? (10/19/2011 3:03:14 PM)

OP stated, "Melissa Brookstone urging businesspeople to “not hire a single person” to protest the Obama administration..."

This is FALSE!!! [8|]

tazzygirl -> RE: Is this really what the Tea Party wants? (10/19/2011 3:06:10 PM)

A call to arms is asking people to pick up their guns.

A call to strike is what she is asking for... she described how in her blog.. she described who... her major complaint in her OP is directed at Obama...

The OP has it dead on.

MasterSlaveLA -> RE: Is this really what the Tea Party wants? (10/19/2011 3:08:25 PM)

The OP is dead wrong, as are you.

tazzygirl -> RE: Is this really what the Tea Party wants? (10/19/2011 3:09:19 PM)

You are stubborn to the end. No matter, its not worth arguing about.

It makes perfect sense now. Her business is doing HORRIBLE thanks to Obama that she will NOT Hire anyone as a form of protest. I love it, way to protest Obama by saying you not going to hire anyone, not because you business is doing horrible, but because your protest.

MasterSlaveLA -> RE: Is this really what the Tea Party wants? (10/19/2011 3:11:44 PM)

Nope. Ya got it wrong again.

How do you know? Care to prove it? Its least you can do since you asked other people to prove their statements.
