ORIGINAL: TheHeretic Yep. And now all the Libyan people are going to put down their guns, and the tribal grudges, and sing kumbaya... Now, as a believer that some crimes deserve the ultimate punishment, I can appreciate the karmic justice of his death coming the way it did. Crippled by wounds, captured, tormented, eventually shot in the head, and then his body dragged through the streets. I think the process, and formal ritual, of trial and review are a better path to the execution, but the circle is complete, either way. To those who want to gloat, and mock the concerns that our President unilaterally placed the U.S. on a slippery slope, wake the fuck up. This was the easy part, that was supposed to be a matter of "days, not weeks." You think the excitement stops here? Hillary may have popped in for photo op, but the way a splinter faction retired the previous commander of the rebel army tells us a lot about what is likely to happen when the photographers leave the table, and somebody isn't happy with the deal. Even those of us who rarely agree on anything, can be happy at the death penalty delivered to a highly deserving individual (though a lot of libs are usually opposed to that), but nothing is over. President Obama could have had Congress on board for this, but for reasons I do not understand, chose personal ownership. Smoke up guys, because this baby is all yours. Does that mean we can call disaster-Iraq, all your`s and you cons will accept ownership?(hold on,I need to laugh my ass off for a few minutes) Seems like with the bush '08' meltdown, you`re still denying your Iraq malfeasance. Are you suddenly going to grow a spine and start taking responsibility, rich? Ownership my ass!....lol We know neo-cons are hoping for the worst. Praying for it. Sad.
