Is reading a profile that hard?  Why do people from out of state, and looking for a "live-in" sub contact me?  I just dont understand it... GRRRR ... I've gotten 2-3 messages from either a Dom looking for a full time sub, or a couple looking for a live in, and they are many states away.

Sorry I felt like venting and this was about the only place I found I could probably get away with it :)

Anyone else notice that people dont actually READ what you put up in your profile???

Look, its really quite simple. Half the time that guys are writing they are blind drunk and scrolling/typing with one hand while the other hand is engaged in auto-erota-penile-massage. They can't be bothered with details and thats why they often realize the following day that they replied to their very own profile, lol.
So,,,, did you want to move in with me or what?

That's the internet. It's great because anyone can get on. The problem is anyone can get on. This is the same internet where you can find insults using every key on the keyboard but the letter keys during a card game. Yours is a common complaint. It's simply the nature of the beast. Delete and/or block and move on.

There's only a post about it every third day.  Just block and delete and move on.

Was his name geant? I've gotten 3 from him in 2 weeks, it's a form letter. You know he does not look at profiles, the top line of mine begins"Owned by".

Not available doesn't work either...I do not think anything really would, eh.....no big deal though...my delete key has some wear and tear but is not completely busted yet.

By means of my highly scientific poll, which i conducted with a grant from NIH, EVERY female poster on these boards has -- at one time or another -- harranged about not having H/her profile read before being emailed.  i think it's a rite of passage for U/us; like P/pl horrified at being designated  "vanilla" when T/they first begin to post.

Let reframe this positively:  i put alot of thought and effort into my profile.  i love the new "interests" that collarme has available (though was recently told what "foot worship" really means, lmao) and i worked very hard on my written profile; getting feedback from my Dom and Master friends, editing until all proofreading errors are (Gawd please) now gone, tweaking it on occassion as i evolve.  i cannot claim i "work" hard on my journal entries, as apart from "The Art of Love" they are all song lyrics, but believe me, i choose them for a reason.

Whenever S/someone indicates in any way that He has read any portion of my profile, i am delighted.  i think this is the best W/we can hope for; my entire profile would take about 30 minutes to read carefully, and Who does that just to send an email to a woman He doesn't know?  (It has occassionally happened though.)

Hey... I called your number and I got taken to a automated greeting and numerical menu. It told me the following:

Press 1 if you really think I should leave my partner

Press 2 if you think that you are a twue dominate

Press 3 if you want naked pictures of me right now

Press 4 if you want to have phone sex with me

Press 5 if you want to be my Internet dominate

Press 6 if you secretly are a HNG posing as someone that I would fall in love with

Press 7 if you know that you can make me submit to you no matter what

Press 8 if you want to meet me in person within the next 24 hours

Press 9 if you are a total stupid fuck with an IQ of a turnip

Press * if you want to hear the menu selections again

Press # if you want to be gang banged by a small horde of dwarf vampires

I spent over an hour calling you and choosing each selection only to be disconnected and I had to call you again and choose the same number only to be disconnected again. So, I tried a different number from the menu and I got disconnected again. I am not sure, but I think you aren't telling the truth about your phone number.

It probably ranks just a smidge higher on the "hard scale" than using the delete option. Use it well. Use it often! Abuse it even... if that's your cup of tea.

By the by... a number of people who have this problem use a key word or two somewhere in their profile. They request that aforementioned key words are used somewhere in any initial email sent... to show that they've read the profile first.

Any email lacking the words is one less email you need to worry about. You can also set your mail filters to screen incoming mail for certain things (like age, sex, orientation, etc.)

Unfortunately there is no filter for "chaotic stupid" or "brainless HNG".
