I understand hlen. I didn't think you meant that. I can get something without the visual... but sometimes I don't think I get the full impact until I see it. Like the treatment of women and girls in other countries. I got that they were being murdered, enslaved, maimed, etc. But to see it puts it in a different place within my emotional bank I guess. I got stoning... I thought. I didn't get it at all! I got that it was wrong, horrific and should be stopped... but until I saw one re-enacted... I had no concept of the horror of it or how it came about. I watched the Stoning of Soraya M. I made myself watch that stoning, over and over again, at different times. I can honestly say... now I get it far better than I thought I got it before. That is one hell of a movie... that changed me. I supported groups fighting this before... but now... there is a fire under my ass.

I've read accounts of stonings. I can't imagine having someone come check your pulse, finding one and saying "It's not done, keep throwing boys."

fr i find it a little fucking odd that on a site full of self-proclaimed sadists people wouldn't look at that sort of shit.

Not everyone on here is a sadist[:)]. For me, the difference is in BDSM any violence is mutually agreed upon. Whether it's agreed on play by play, or giving blanket consent it is mutually decided upon. ETA: BTW, your new avatar is great!
